I used to love werebear form smacking enemies and now it’s sooooooo slooooooow. I miss playing other class werebear builds. I miss Beast runeword being worth more than the aura. I see no bears anywhere people used to play them. There was nothing wrong with the way they were why were they changed?
Please revert the changes to werebear and bring back build diversity !!

Yep changes to werebear definitely the most retarded changes made thus far in d2r… I understand if you want attack speed you play WW…nty…
But sadly hard to see them reverting. Devs are absolutely not in tune with the game. They hurt many A/B/C tier builds and turned some S tier to S+…

I can live with the bad ias nerf as long as they finally allow shifters (bears/wolves) to teleport in form.
I would much rather they add a leap ability, but this is extremely unlikely given how much work it would require.
Allowing shifters to teleport is a minor change in shifter code. Not altering the skill tree or adding an animation/graphic etc.
Which is more realistic for this company to actually do? Teleport access lets shifters finally become a real farm-enabled class.
Its not OP because they are essentially out farmed, out damaged, out utilitied by every other option even with teleport. I.e. druid “buffs/spirits” getting killed infinitely. While barb shouts… stay??? Alternatively barbs are also tankier than bears with all of their armor skills combined. Far tankier!
All of the 2.4 nerfs suck… but the mobility issues are a straight up travesty. Main reason the class is impractical and unpicked by 99% of players. No one in their right mind will farm on a shifter, ever. Unless they wish to find 2% of what a low/no geared pal or sorc can obtain the second they reach hell.
The only change more important than making the unviable viable is adding P8 in game creation to non-ladder bnet games. This option adds depth, difficulty, and fun to SSF offline. It used to be an option in D2 days lan wise, and would absolutely fix the RMT issues plaguing the actual non-abuse players(players that dont multibox, FG trade, bot, or RMT buy/sell)
Shifter fixes are second only to that

Idk about teleporting in shapeshift form, havent really thought about it much. Getting to your enemy faster as a werebear isnt the problem its how slow the attack speed is now. Takes a split second to swap weaons and shift, I’ve never had an issue with it personally.
I like that offweapon IAS is relevant for shifters now but I dislike that the upper attack speed limit got completely neutered in the process.
I understand the dev’s intentions behind having the werewolf be the fast nimble attacker and the werebear being the slow, strong, unstoppable tank but I think they should’ve left it as a choice rather than forcing it on the player.
I think it’d be better if they used the implementation in the second 2.4 PTR where they used both systems in tandem, using whichever attack speed is faster.
I played a Werebear in D2L recently. And so I looked up the attack speed table. To my great surprise, werebear was always affected by offweapon IAS. In most cases, equipping some offweapon IAS would get you 1 extra frame of attack speed. In the early game I was using Steel Large Axe. And then I found Bloodfist gloves, and they got me to the next attack speed breakpoint.
please keep the werebear as it is.
for speed and fast attacks you have the wolf so the bear should be a massive tank that can’t be stopped (which the new maul delivers).
let’s be honest, the fireclaw bear with SHAELs in PB was just silly from a roleplay perspective.
Is it slow? No. Is it slower than before? A bit yes. Is it BEARable? Yupp. Is the lack of extra AR more of a problem now? Absolutely.
One of the first builts I made was a FCWB. Slow even with 6 socketed PB. Never played another since and now you are saying it’s worse?
Try to Play Werebear Shockwave - max it and Maul and see DMG, not on tooltip, just ingame 
Yeah that shadow buff is insane. Funny no one knows if it’s intended or not. But i hope they don’t touch it.
