I launched the game this morning and got queued at 173 or so, np - waited 55 minutes to 1 hour to then get a msg “cannot connect to servers” so it crashed to then get requeued @ 207! Are you Serious!?
This is like the ONLY game I know that has such long waits to play it! not real hard here press play on any other game (or most) and guess what… it normally launches and then you PLAY the darn GAME! I would curse all sorts right now, but can’t or get ban! Bloody fix this game! (or hire someone that can!) so, maybe 2 hours to play the game - how is that even acceptable? Every weekend now since it’s launch! ridiculous amounts of time to WAIT to play a game. Unbelievable. I can understand a bit of a wait but crash and go again? wtf lol and an hour a piece - no.

I prefer online play and I agree this queue is not the answer it’s such an annoying temp fix to your issues. I’d rather play another non blizzard game then wait in the queue for an hour for online play. Please do away with the queue and fix the issues.

I woke up extra extra early so i could get in queue. Waited 3 hours to have 1.5 to play before work.
Logged in, pressed play, pressed hell difficulty and started loading into a game.
Crash.
Back in queue at 300. Guess ill just never play this game ever again, and they wont refund either which is just absolution horrendous.

Something similar happened to me. Launched game at 96 on the queue…
The game loaded offline only after the long queue and then I clicked “online” and was then at position 200 even. It’s wierd and more than a bit aggravating. I am not “angry”, it’s just that it’s been over a month since release, and I just want to turn the game on and play…
As I said in other posts, I really like the game and never played through the original because I did not have good internet at the time.
I just want to be able to play the game when I click play…or at the very least be able to play in 15minutes, I do understand queues.
This is crap. Blizzard use to be centrally focused on quality, and these are really all “failure to launch” issues that should not be happened.

I don’t mind a bit of a wait here - but the crashing and requeuing is what’s intolerable and unacceptable - shorten the wait times or something… wouldn’t be as bad. 10 minutes , 15 if it’s really busy?

YES! you’re totally right, that’s what’s happening to be except I am not “crashing”. I get through the queue, then I get some message after the queue about my ISP, which is totally fine, and then I am back in the queue. Only option is offline, which I don’t want to do because it’s not the real game.

Same thing happened to me this morning. And though it has happened to me several times in the past month–it really upset me today…
It’s a month after launch and there are still login issues to play the game online?! I’ve requested a refund for pc and switch and I cancelled my wow subscription. I just cant do it anymore… it’s let down after let down from blizz.

1 hour 41 minutes later… I got in. (FTI) is this what we as players should expect if we’re to play D2:R as reasonable wait times? Just asking here? I’d really dislike having to get dc’d right now .

What?! Why?! I love sitting at 170 people in front of me on a Nintendo Switch. I thought this was the game. This is a freaking joke Blizzard. I don’t know what happened to this company, but its disaster after disaster.

Tell people to stop logging in and spamming Baal runs putting so much load on the servers. Problem fixed. But my guess is you all want to log in and level and/or spam Baal, Cows, And all the other runs that put load on the servers, just like I do. But I’m not going sit here while in queue tell others that, because as of now that’s really the only thing that can be done to fix the queue. Unless YOU all have some MAGICAL way of fixing the load on the servers, that all these DEVs can’t figure out as of now. Come on step up, fix it for them. Otherwise, recognize the queue is them working on things, because just two weeks ago it wasn’t the queue, it was, “I cannot even log into the loading screen. All I get is black screen.” You got past that didn’t you? And for those that didn’t have these issues for weeks on end, that’s great for you, welcome to what club. “Seems the clubs full right now, stand in line at the doors with the rest of us, maybe or maybe not we’ll get in soon. Club seems pretty hoppin tonight though, so not sure how long this will be.”
HAHAHAHAHAH. You’ve got to be kidding right? It’s the players’ fault… not Blizzard? Lolololol. Stop being a clown.

What people do IDC, my issue is these long waits then crashes and wait again! The fix to these issues are not up to the players, but Blizzard’s issues to FIX. Farming is no small part of the game here. Blizzard needs to address these issues - that’s it.
Most games, you press the play button and you know what happens… The game “actually” starts! AMAZING right?
The company that had the largest MMO with 10s of millions of players… Doesn’t know how to manage servers anymore apparently. It’s ALL the players’ fault!!

They wouldn’t have the load on servers, if players didn’t play the game. Not much anyone can say about that. I’m pretty positive a dead game with hardly any players has little to no server loads. So, yes players are to blame for the load on the servers. Now like I said if you have some magical way fix this load we as players put on the servers, not the space used, because that’s not the issue, it’s the load. So if you have this, feel free to let Blizzard know, I’d love not to sit in queue like everyone else, that has no clue on how to fix the load. Adding more server space does nothing for the load, the servers get. So that’s not the fix, that everyone on the forums so readily throws out there with, “buy more servers Blizzard, you have the money.” If it just were that simple. But until Blizzard figures it out, seeing how no one here has the magical fix, I guess we’re all stuck with a queue.
QQ more.
If they actually did something about “the potatoes they run instead of servers”, player’s wouldn’t be blamed here. Put the fault where it belongs bud.

That is what they are doing working to fix the problems so we won’t have to go through queues anymore. But it is something that is gonna take time to do. Patience here is what is needed.
I would much rather a queue that allows the servers to stay running where they can see what is going on in real time under a controlled environment. Instead of no game playing at all due to server outages. Server outages that would happen every day for 3-5+ hours without any end in sight. Also they can possibly fix crashing issues as well by seeing them in real time.
its called spending money on bandwidth. that would fix the problem. blizzard likes to take money but not spend it. blizzard is a business and they are in it to make money. i dont blame them either.
Tried to log in at 3 AM west coast time, only to be number 11 in Q, play 3 mins, crashes, number 34 in Q. Such a great system…
we need blizzard to be more hyper aggressive with banning bots and advertising accounts that are filling up 100’s of thousands of our server slots resulting in queues. Please just perma IP/Hardware ban any account that is logged in for over 60 hours farming like… no human can just stay logged in for 60 hours farming its clearly a bot. Also my ignore list is full from all the bots spamming in lobbies… like I know you’re under staffed right now but we need to up the aggressiveness on banning bots and rmt website advertisers. Please… if we do this then the queue problem is solved and you’re knocking out 2 birds with one stone.
