So since launch there have been numerous crash issues. Now today many of us have found our entire character list gone. This is not acceptable in any way.

Agreed with your opinion OP, but to ask for a refund isn’t happening. Blizzard will never take action to fix a wrong with customers.
I’m surprised at how many issues this game had on launch and current issues. I mean it’s not a new game, it’s an old game that has been remastered.
I understand your frustration, but it’s only a game. Go outside until they get things sorted. Or just roll an offline character in the meantime. If you need to play the game, you’re addicted, and should work to address that.
I expect issues for any game on launch but some of the problems I’m seeing have persisted a bit too long. The constant crashes are a major issue, this all characters missing I’m assuming is just the authentication servers messing up and instead of telling you that its just showing nothing. The game looks amazing but theres just that little bit of polish thats missing and is extremely noticeable.
I’m pretty sure the vast majority of the players want to play the game, and don’t necessarily need to. Just because you’re venting your frustration, it doesn’t mean you “need” to play the game over “want.” Keep in mind there are various games in life, and people always vent their frustrations, and I bet you have as well. Over basketball, football, soccer, tennis, golf, games, etc. Let’s keep that “it’s only a game” mentality out of it because it’s an excuse to not take any game seriously. Honestly if you had that mentality in a competitive basketball game, I wouldn’t want you on my team.

I work 5 to 6 10+ hours a day outside where at many points throughout the day I go several hours without cell service. I hunt, fish and also do plenty of other activities outside. I’ve also barely accumulated anything worthwile in this game since launch with the little bit of play time I do have.
This is no different than buying anything else. If it’s broke or breaks within weeks of purchase there should be the option to have a refund.
But it isn’t broken. You can still play offline!

Dumbest take on this situation. The problem is you pay for a game and want to play it when you want to. This isn’t the first or 1,000th issue this game has had since launch. It’s honestly ridiculous the amount of issues this game has had. If you’re justifying their server issues with “go outside” then you must be ok paying for other things that don’t work properly. Pretty sure if your ISP went down as much as blizz servers you wouldn’t just “go outside.” Rub your two brain cells together and see what else you can come up with.
