Playing HC you can literally die one shot of you enter a portal into champion cows or the cow king.
Now having loading screens that last, how are they going to fix this?
there will be a delay so you wont take any dmg nor anithing will move before the loading screen ends for you

I’ve never seen a cow portal right in the middle of a pack of cows (when you’re the first one in, that is)… Maybe a pack is close to the portal and is immediately aggroed, which if that is the case, just get moving as soon as the level loads. Cows are extremely easy to corral, having extra run speed or teleport definitely helps. If you’re following a friend into a portal, ask them if it’s clear before entering, or ask for a safe TP.
If you do get trapped at the portal, you can always go back in the portal, leave and start a new game.

I just died in HC entering a portal, no time to use a potion or anything, just died. So, definitely possible.
What system are you playing on? Do you still see loading times? (hooded figure at door that opens)
I don’t, but as far as I am aware they are a thing in resurrected.
It doesn’t really matter what system anybody is playing on, you shouldn’t die instantly entering a portal, being the first one to enter alone in your own game.
All I am saying is that it is not alright to have a portal where you enter into a group of mobs. There are no mobs on waypoints and other portals in the game, the cow level appears to generate the portal on mobs as well.
Hmm. You must have hit the one in a million jackpot, I’ve never seen a portal spawn right in the middle of a pack of cows. I’ve seen it spawn very close to some… I’ve ran a lot of cows myself, mostly solo and I’ve never seen that happen. I’m not saying it can’t happen, I have just never seen it.
i remember in 1.09 my level 94 barb die in the portal mpk player pull so much cow on the portal and the game lag so much

Nobody is talking about the times when someone is pulling creeps to entering points in the game.
I am talking about when you open the cow portal, enter and end up inside a group of cows immediately killing you
Fluke. I have opened 10K+ Cow portals (probably light estimate) and that has never happened once to me… Does it spawn close to cows, and cows move on you the second you come through? Yes, but not instantly as you claim.

This just happened to me too. Clicked the Cow portal, by the time it loaded I was at 50% health completely surrounded. Died about a half second later. Lvl 68 hardcore. Probably done with the game if blizzard can just roll the dice and decide to kill my character.

i’ve had portals to the secret cow level spawn in several interesting ways…
- right next to the king
- stuck in a wooden fence
- in a pack of cows
The pack of cows thing is more related to the load times but the portal to the wood fence… not so much.

Had that happen to me. It might be they agro while it’s loading and kill you or get on top of you. I can’t remember if I had anytime to move or just died instantly.
It’s really rare though. Did this happen in original diablo 2? I can’t remember I didn’t run cows a lotl
It might vary though based on your load times. Everyone will have different hardware and times. If you took a little longer you might be dead nearly instantly
I have also very recently had my cow portal spawn in the southern part of the cow king fort. Which means pretty much ontop of the cow king. So yeah, this is very possible. Didn’t die though, fortunately.
Players pile the cows on the portal on purpose to horde the loot 
I guess if it happens playing solo that’s different.
For being a game about defeating the devil theirs a lot of shady behaviors in the game and around it lol.
It can happen. Was running cows the other day, and the portal opened inside the CK’s compound with him right on top of it lol
