I personally was creating a game with a chara who didn’t kill a single boss on hell and was leaving and then join with my high sorc to kill them. It was procing the quests. Saw it from a youtuber
In a nutshell, the quest drop for bosses removes the junk treasure classes from their drop tables… Junk being gold, potions, scrolls, etc., which is why the other good loot has a better chance of dropping on the quest kill.
As far as quest drop “bug” killing:
Character1 who has completed the Baal quest creates the game. Character1 doesn’t need to stay in the game, which means you can do this process with two different characters on the same account on bnet by creating a private passworded game, leaving, then joining with the 2nd character.
Character2 joins the game, who has not yet completed the Baal quest goes and kills Baal, which counts as a quest drop from Baal… Since character1 already completed the quest, the kill doesn’t count towards quest progression for character2, and the process can be repeated indefinitely. At least thats how it works in the original game.
I am not sure what you talk about. Its same as before, they only fixed andariel. Other bosses can still be quest bug and process of how you do it is not proper quest bugging. Its same as cooley showed on youtube but he was wrong.
Ok, i am doing then a similar thing which works as well. as i said I do the game with a chara with 0 progress and then i join with my 90 sorc and kill all boses, it counts as Q
No actually, i never saw gold from bosses they way i am doing it. Tbh i have quit the game for a month, i dunno if it fixed that, but never saw gold from bosses that way and far better loot obv
recently? Maybe is fixed or it was a bug being fixed, as i said i quited for a month+ so dunno,. but when i used it before i didnt see any gold or bad drops that way., Anyway i think we over analize it
