So Im back in the game and Im initially going fireball sorc for lvling. Ive just reached lvl 12 and Ive got a +3 firebolt staff. Thing is my fireball is not recieving any damage bonus from these 3 lvls in firebolt. Has something changed cause I remember that I could see these bonuses work their magic “on paper” in the past.
For synergies, only hard skill points apply.

So you mean that they work, I just wont see a change in the actual damage numbers in the skilltree? Is that new?
No, I mean that synergies do not apply to any +skills provided by items. Synergies only work with points spent on your skill trees. (hard points)
So if you have 10 hard points into fire bolt and a staff with +3 to fire bolt, Fire ball will only receive the synergy bonus of level 10 fire bolt.

It only gets worse with age. 
Load up on them omega 3 fatty acids. 
Or you could try the Joe Johnson Memory System.

Thats wierd. I remember seeing something like this but it was called the Jimmy Nielsen memory system. Was legit. Now I only forget how Diablo works.
