Hydra does pretty well for solo Andy and Meph runs. Its single target damage is good and you can cheese some mechanics. In groups hyrda is pretty weak. Packs are cleared before your first summon is even firing.
I listed number of possible location, currently best two are maggot lair and stony tomb.
Fire is the worst element. We already know that. Every 3rd mob seems to be fire immune in hell.
if fire and lightning mastery were debuffs like cold mastery, fire would be by far the best, but instead it is the weakest, but with a full conviction pally it is by far the best element, but with only infinity it is the weakest elemental.
So what lol? MF zones without fire immunes.

Wrong, i dont. The one with little knowledge is you. There is nothing to fix, Fire is fine, Fire sorc is great, but you just have to know how to play her. Which you obviously dont. If any element need help for MF runs, its lightning.

Also fact, Fire sorc can farm for example stony tomb or maggot lair where she excel. She is brutally effective at andariel and great at meph also as she can use trick to kill him over River. She can do also cows well and is a lot more party friendly than cold sorc. Why? Because it suck to play with blizzard which destroy bodies often if you are horker or necro.
Another fact, you already demonstrated that in this topic with your comments.
And another fact. Lightning sorc or lightning element in general suffer more with MF as there is not many good places without lightning immunes. Yes you are really not starting sorc with infinity merc when you click create new character. Lightning has limited options in comparison when you dont already have high end items, thats reality.
So as you can see, no reason to edit anything. All i wrote reflect reality and is factual.
Btw, when will you show us your 1.# SSF HC character? We start to think it doesnt exist dude and you just made it up.

I am actually having a lot of fun with frozen orb + meteor. The removal of global cooldowns made this build so much more powerful and fluent. A buff that flew under the radar.
I never play hybrids 
always one element sorc.
It’s pretty good man. Goes really well with a holy freeze merc (so cold immune stuff doesn’t run away from the meteor). And while meteor is dropping you have a chance to weave in some static fields.
Or in some places like CS you can at the same time drop meteors on oblivions (they stand in place anyway if you don’t get too far from them\too close to them) and shoot frozen orbs on doom knights. So good.
Playing this build I feel like a true master wizard, the more buttons i press the more destruction I unleash. Fighting act bosses with FO+Meteor+Static at the same time feels really strong.

You realize cold sorc also has to deal with immunities as well right? And you can’t break most cold immunities, but fire you can break probably 75% of them.

Honestly lightning is the worst element till you get infinity or have like +20 skills. Running Hydra/FB/Orb worked great for me in early season to spam farm Countess, Andy, Meph.
