Sorry man, I am playing fire Sorc and it’s great thus far. Hydra is a very low risk high reward play style. You just have to figure out which level 85 zones don’t have fire immunes. Here is my farm route each game:
- Act 1: Andariel & Countess (Static + merc kill)
- Act 2: Stony Tombs (great and easy area for P8 games)
- Act 3: Mephesto
- Act 5: Eldritch, Shenk, Pindel (Static + merc kill), Icy Cellar
I play only Hydra/FB with Frozen Orb Sorc and do not use FG or $$ to buy any items and I have gotten the setup below together thus far.
- Shako (Traded for with Ist runes I got from Countess )
- Occulus (self found Meph)
- Skullders (self found Countess)
- War Travs (self found Meph)
- Raven Frost (self found Meph)
- Nagel ring (self found Andy)
- Tal’s Belt (self found Meph)
- Spirit shield (traded for Monarch)
- +2 fire skills/22 MF amulet (self found Andy)
- Chance Guards (self found Andy)
- Gheeds Charm (traded for)
