true… but you would need to pair it with 1) an angelic set, 2) a fools weapon or 3)hsarus belt and boot. 1 visio not enough to deal with zons, zeal and wolves
Meant to compete with circlets, address AR problems for physical damage esp since Bowazon Penetrate skill now stacks with blessed aim, top end items will outclass in one stat but also provide another choice between LL helm and Cure on merc. Meant to be semi-accessible mid-early game. Chase base for Druids and barbs. Sink for currency runes. Gives up defense for offense. Should help with certain breakpoints but also forces one to choose. In some sense, an updated Valk Wing.
Is this to counter ghosts? The cost means that it’s competing with Wrath and Ice. Sanc’s bonus dmg only applies to melee unfortunately
I like it, good thought-processing. I feel the same way about Druid/Barb bases, there is not way to optimize them and Delirium is a nuisance.
Personally, I would like to see Cham and Zod take their rightful place in the food chain. Ideally Cham = 1.5 jah and Zod would be 1.5 Cham. Would make high-end trading a little bit easier due to 40 square limit. I feel like Blizz attempted this balance (cham/zod) with Obsession/Plague but neither is best-in-slot so it didnt succeed.
I would like to see a helmet that is 2os (would create diversity). Cham brings Cannot be frozen and Zod brings indestructible. Would need to have huge variance in rolls to create a sink. I would also like the helm to have teleport so that it bring a bit more diversity to Enigma.
The idea is to have an alternative to enigma allowing to reach highest FCR bp. Right now, any non-sorc caster is pidgeon-holed into enigma and need to make concessions on power to reach BP. Obviously a 20fcr 100life Teleport Cannot Be Frozen high def helmet appears busted (especially in a Nado/War cry base) but it would require 100+ attemps to get that roll.
Agreed, at the moment, Metaphorphasis and Flickering flame is kinda the only choices for barb/druid bases and those are somewhat niche.
Interesting, a teleport on helm and frees up a ring slot for some builds
If it had 30IAS that would be very very interesting for a WF Bowazon while still not letting a GMB Faith user get a free teleport. Gives WF a niche vs GMB Faith but lets MB/Diamond Faith have teleport options.
I like the 2os and Zod/Cham sink. Also starts a search for Eth 2os + swag opportunities. Also like how the lack of +all skills forces some juggling as well.
I think “Mirage” would be a cool name. The idea that it could let certain chars “move so fast” you’d only see afterimages of them and still close-ish to the meaning of “Enigma”. Might indirectly buff physical chars that currently have to trade Fortitude for Enigma. I like it. Sad Wolf noises though.
“Collector”
GulSur
2os Necro Heads
35 FCR (lower str spirit FCR BP, this might already mess with pvp balance despite missing +all skills and res and FHR)
+3 summon (as to not mess with pvp balance, becomes BiS for chase base)
+1 Lower Res (to save points, encourage team play)
+1 Decrep (save points)
Cost is meant to reflect late game min-maxing, backed up with point saving and offers spirit FCR bp while saving strength. Shouldn’t affect pvp but I need other ppl to verify this. I don’t dare balance bone necro as it’s also a top pvp build. Based off what a teleporting fishymancer would want min-maxing.
Can consider an aura if cost seems too high: a low level thorns or a concentration seems about right and goes with the summon necro
I’m basing my logic off how char editor and thus the game codes runewords: the Runeword Section is reserved for the additional attributes that are granted by the combination of the runes. The runes contribute their own effects by virtue of being socketed. Hence me only specifying the additional runeword effects assuming people understand the runes will contribute their intrinsic effects shrug
but for the sake of clarity, I think people should post the full specs. cuz I had to look up what gul and sur does in shields.
Also, even if the rune words attributes takes place, its not always exact. For example, an armor runeword could have a sur but it doesn’t mean that the roll will be exactly 5% to maximum mana. It could be 5%~10% or something.
