if you like running around faith seems better. If not, faith costs one more socket…
Well it would depend on the bow you make Faith into. Also how much IAS you have on your gear, which merc you use. This statement is way too broad.
the point is that there are two playstyles, I guess… and knock back makes all the difference
if you want to be very mobile you do not need knockback and faith might be a no brainer
but if you are strafing, standing with your minions and merc, you need knockback… which faith lacks… because they keep on coming… so you need one more socket for a nef rune…
i ended up thinking windforce is better if you plan to mainly use straffe but faith is better for the other skills.
can access best FPA with windforce on straffe without fana.
windforce gives a bit more leeway on the helm slot too, no absolute need for giant skull.
at the end of the day i just roll something else because i cant fathom overcapping reses decently on a bowazon heh
(not a fan of kira’s)
Resistances are an issue, bowazons always need charms for L and F
I am also not sure if skillers are useful after 2.4
but faith really lacks a NEF to be a strafer’s primary weapon since it offers the returned… in tough situations you are suddenly a group of 6… this can mean maxiumum survivability for a bowazon…
if i was running strafe, id probably run an insight crossbow so i could easily reach the 99 fcr breakpoint with enigma.
I also wouldn’t be trying to farm P8 with it.
You could run a fort crossbow too, and a natures peace
with a 3 socket 20 fcr helm
2x 40-15 and a cham rune or 3x 40-15 (40%ed 15 ias if you dont want cant be frozen)
5 bow grand charms for the 32 skill in strafe to hit 10 times on a single target, while strafe has a 4 frame delay. So fast weapons for single target isnt really needed that much. You would be hitting every 5 frames, about 4 per second.
atmas amulet - amp obviously
trang gloves - fcr psn damage increase (could wear magefist for faster mana regen)
arach - fcr
fcr ring with mana/life leech X2
engima
spirit/cta on swap
torch
anni
a few light res small charms with life ( or 4 max damage) - SUPER RARE
all res small charms with life (or 4 max damage) - SUPER RARE
Max ar life grand charms or 14 max ar grand charms
Wouldnt really need knockback since you can reposition after every volley if needed. Plus you will get target flees 25% if you wear fort.
Insight you could drop an FCR ring for raven.
I have a strafe zon right now without it being maxed, and use an insight bow, I can see the potential if i maxed the skill, and used different charms, would be fun.
BUT NOT FOR players 8 content.
If you really wanted to go nuts, you could wear a faith great bow on swap, with insight main hand, wear the raven, get the 7frame speed with faith for guided or magic arrow
and the strafe damage on swap. You would have to have a lot of 20/5 small charms, and insane rings with resist to do that though for max res.
I imagine with a bo barb, and an enchant sorc, it could get disgusting amounts of damage, and probably work great in P8
tbh, haven’t tried crossbows except the NM buriza build for a little bit
nice set up though ! could’t agree more for the L and allRes charms : )… F is also necessary
I played with wind force on my decked out bow zon. Faith is vastly superior.
vastly superior in general or vastly superior when you want to be very mobile ?
'cause when you are knocking back everybody faith’s needs one more socket, which may amount to at least 40%ED/15%IAS
: )
