So what I gather from this is not only did Blizzard not verify accuracy and effectiveness of their code prior to launch, they also didn’t conduct any stress testing before release. Additionally, it sounds like there is nothing in place to prevent DDoS attacks on their game servers. Learning something from the experience? good job, but it could have been avoided by just testing beforehand. this is, as the saying goes, a day late and a dollar short.
