“Failed to enter game. This character is already in a game on the server. Please try again.”

It has been like this with my character for 25 mins now! please help! also if i make a new toon and try to join a game it says failed as well…

I’m at work so I’m not entirely sure what is going on. I was able to play for a couple hours this morning. But I kept getting rolled back etc.

I thought they had fixed this about an hour ago but I guess not, huh?

I haven’t seen any announcements relating to the rollbacks or the characters getting stuck in the game. So far, I’ve only seen that they applied a fix to the missing characters (which was about an hour ago).

Yea… im really at a loss for words i cant play at all…my friends are pasing me up ><

My entire group hasn’t been able to play for 1.5 hours now due to this.

No answer?

@ doom bro… i feel your pain i was lvl 35 doing baal runs ahhhhhhh. all my boys are now passing me up.

in the same boat, and it seems blizzard do not care and wont fix it, as some people have had this issue for over 5 HOURS, pathetic company

ye. its the by far most important thing to fix.

it locks out so many ppl from playing the game for no fkin reason.

i dont care for some game crashes or annoying bugs.

but not being able to play is kinda too much >_<

and HOW can the only fix be to always restart their servers------
they shouldve adressed this as it happened at least twice in the last 5 hours for many ppl

Realm resets and such are fine. This is unexplainable, rare, and no answers. Wtf?

this is so frustrating… getting THE SAME thing for around 2 hours now and yes i agree. no light at the end of the tunnel do they even know this is happening??? “Failed to enter game. This character is already in a game on the server. Please try again.”

try make a new char, play a bit, then log back on the other char that is stuck in limbo, if that doesnt work u have to wait for server reset probably. this sound like a pretty old d2 bug

making new char does not help.
any char i create will also be locked and unable to create or join games

I also have the same issue. Cannot join another game because it says im logged into another one

it srsly cannot be that not more ppl are having this problem >.<

really nothing to be done apart from w8ting for blizzard to randomly restart the servers …

this is a total desaster : (

and i still have no idea why it happens :S

I died a long way from a portal and I saved and exited the game. Now I can’t enter it. /smh

how are not more people hit with the failed to join desaster ?

it feels even worse when everyone is able to play and thus nothing is gonna happen to fix it for the people who cannot even play the game.
