Could not authenticate. Reach out to BN support but issue still presists.
Im getting “failed to authenticate” most of the time or “could not logging to server” other times. Then randomly can enter server sometimes. Please refund me in US DOLLARS!
Having the same issue. Just purchased, 100% complete account but cannot play online.
Just bought the game to play my old saves from PSN. Randomly kicked me off and I get the same “failure to authenticate”.
I would’ve tried offline but I’ve had my data randomly get corrupted and bricked as well. So both online AND offline sucks.
Might as well allow cheating if playing fair and putting in time just leads to your data getting randomly wiped out.
So I just figured out my issue. For some reason the purchase for the game wasn’t showing under the transaction menu on that battlenet account. I purchased the game a second time for this account and it’s showing under the transaction menu and is now working. I’ve requested a refund for the original purchase… fingers crossed but for $14 it’s not the end of the world if they deny.
I’ve already purchased this twice already…the fix is buying it a third time? Oof…
Does that authenticator download work? I checked reviews and see that it’s actually locking people OUT of their accounts…
I reached out to blizzard explaining the issue and they are refunding me for the purchase that was not linked to the account.
It didn’t help me at all…
