I am on single player on PS5 and struggle picking up the items I WANT.
If they are not adding a damn item filter then look at ANY OTHER arpg game on console and see how they do it.

Definitely stop playing if selecting loot offline, where you have all the time in the world to select pickups, is enraging you so.
nice one you dummy. its not about the time… have you tried doing some travs run with controller? and thats on P1. You are probably one of the devs hahaha
Its 21st century. It’s not my fault if you don’t know that there are better ways to implement how items are selected for pickup when using a controller.
We should not just be OKAY with a broken system. I have all the time in the world yes, but i dont want to spend all the time in the world to try to pick up one single item that has dropped between 20 other crappy drops.

Try on p8 where the entire screen is text boxes and you can’t seem to get in the right location to highlight the one worthwhile piece in the pile of garbage…
Once you do pick up the unique ring, it will ID as a Nagel 
exactly. I often do P1 travincal runs and often I simply CAN NOT pick up the items. I have to pick up the rubish, unload them somewhere else in order to grab one item.
That’s pretty ridiculous
After hundreds of runs, load time and lack of knowledge on how to support a game with a controller, lots of wasted time here
Sorry I am not a dev haha if I were, I’d tell you to stop asking for features that won’t be implemented and to remember that you’re playing a game from the 20th century. I might take a chance and wager with fellow devs that we’ll see Diablo 4 on your account day 1 as well.
The fact that Diablo ii is on consoles at all is amazing but it has a list of issues. I sympathize and wish you luck sorting loot if you continue your console adventures, but don’t be the dummy that thinks consoles are anywhere except on the bottom of the list of priorities.

Item picking is well made with controller. They did cope !
But… We need a loot filter at least for arrows, bolts, double unpicked potions.
And throwing potions they don’t want to scale per level.
