Expand stash tab capacity to 200/infinite stash tabs, c'mon

Needing 200/infinite stash tabs for switching builds of every class on pc. Limited stash tabs have been destroying GameDiablo II Resurrected. Needing 200/infinite stash tabs for builds as many as possible.

Local single player, use Gomule for all of your item hoarding needs.

Battle.net is going to have restrictions, including limited stash space. All I can recommend is to stop hoarding junk.

Understandable… but just to play devils advocate for a second, we don’t have much more space than the original year 2000 game offered.
This was back when a 4mb ram upgrade was considered a memory “expansion pak” for the current Gen console. When memory cards were 256kb lol

The storage space in D2R does not at all reflect how affordable data storage has become for a game like D2R.

David Brevik claims to be a “storage space miser”, so obviously it was never intended for players to have unlimited storage space via multiple Battle.net accounts.

As far as storage space being more affordable vs back in 2000, yeah, that’s true… But that’s not the point. The point of a restrictive storage space is to force the player to learn what is worth keeping and what should be thrown away.

Fair enough, and good point, I do remember him saying that.
It wasn’t in the original design to horde everything you find.

But the player base has turned this game into something the designers didn’t account for. Holy grails, etc.
Blizzard could have taken note of how the masses play the game in 2024 and updated it for that play style.

Maybe one day, we’ll have paid stash expansion tabs for 2.99 a pop or whatever. For now, like you said, we do have single player for these play styles.

What some players don’t realize about this game is that it can be beaten with mix and match garbage gear… Rares, magics even. The ultra super overpowered unobtanium runewords and unique items are not required. It’s more challenging.

There are those who just want to be stupid overpowered, clearing screens by simply entering the area. They want them so much that they are willing to sacrifice their storage space for things to trade to get those unobtanium items to make that happen… Or even bust out the CC and buy items, or worse, run bots. Then on top of that, there are those that nolife the game so hard (or buy/bot items) who are completely decked out with unobtanium who complain about the game being too easy.

Then there are those who just want to collect one or more of everything.

Only problem here is they made a remaster knowing very well what people were used to in LoD and back then they had more or less infinite storage. Im not saying that should be a thing anymore but i do however think that 3 shared stash tabs is a bit too restricted in a game where everything is about loot and u cant even stack simple crafting material like runes and gems. Any other ARPG i can think of that i have played have more storage room and many of them have stackable crafting materials/currency
A game is more or less all about having fun, restricting or forcing players takes away a lot of that fun and having less room is never fun in an ARPG. They could easily double the amount of stash tabs and if u ask me i think 10 shared stash tabs would be more fair

Yup… The real problem is, that isn’t their problem.

It’s ours.

Edit: :chess_pawn:

well there are multiple things to adress before this that would greatly help

  1. stackable materials (rune, gem, organs, keys)
  2. Unique/set dismantling
  3. simplification of the rune upgrade recipe

in my mod runes are all 2 to 1 upgrade without gems
and you can downgrade them 1 to 2 as well

this allows you to concentrate your rune wealth
