Just found this ETH 271 ED (300 max); 2soc ; + 2 paly skills ; 15 per kill one hand weapon on my zeal paly.
Should I socket this with zod ohm or just spend the money on making a grief instead?

What build / skill do you wanna pump? or do you wanna pump damage?
With HL you need to put Shaels/ias jewels in both sockets to hit the max (4 fps) zeal. So if you put a Zod in it you lose some dps. And HL cannot hold a candle comparing to a Grief pb. If you have the runes, go make a Grief for your zealer.
i just started a zeal / smiter / fanatacism build. Not really sure if the ethereal will be close to grief damage.
The worst Grief > any non-runeword weapon (unfortunately)
Sell that Zod and buy any Grief you can afford.
Griefs are so cheap nowadays since people are trying to roll alot of them, the bad rolled ones should be really cheap
Actually I would hold on to that Zod and wait for patch 2.4 to come out, just in case a good new runeword involving Zod is implemented.
Even if the patch comes with new runewords with Zod, It wont be accessible to current realm.

True, but there are strong indication that ladder runewords will become available once season ends, and a ladder season is rumored to be only 3-4 months.
