Yesterday was a lucky day for me. As a 70 lvl character (act 1 Hell) i joined a game with terror zone which was tristram. Found cold sunder charm.
I was really strugling in Hell with FO/Hydra build. Now i can respec to pure cold sorceress, but i want to make an ES cold sorc. So which way i should go? Can i do Blizzard/FO?
For P1 mf farming, Frozen Orb with ES-shield is enough dmg & really fun as well.
If you want to farm in public more player games, I would recommended you to build Frozen Orb/Blizzard combo setup. It has a lot more dmg.
Left click FO & right click Blizz skill.
Later if you’re rich, maybe try Frost Nova for fun(if you like cold Sorc). Other wise Light Nova Sorc with infi self wielding is so good & has big aoe clear, but expensive as hell.
As Tqdrago said, for P1, Max Orb, synergie, -150 or max the mastery, then get your ES with max telekinesis, its a great build and provided you dont F up, its really survivable.
Just google D2RMM. Super easy to use. And there are a video also on youtube how to install it. And there are other mods also.
I`m now rocking with 30x monster density, using holy fire lvl 100, i get 30 stat points each level, and 4 skill points per level. I think i can beat any other character 
E: why was i thinking that static field also is a hidden synergy with ES??

The first character was paladin in early 2000s (the game probably cost 1 or 2 dollars) when i didn’t have internet and i thought Duriels Shell was the best armor ever. Didn’t use runewords because i just didn’t know them. After a few years my friend got me arreat summit page in diskettes. (he had dial-up internet which needed 2 hours to download 3 megabytes) Ah… memories.
