Enemy resistances indicator

Has anyone else had trouble seeing the indicator on monsters on hell difficultly? They changed it from test to a tiny icon that’s really hard to see. Wtf was wrong with the text under the enemy names like old school d2 had?

Blizzard thought we’d rather try and decipher a tiny symbol smaller than an ant while auto target bounces around. Words are so 2001 who needs em they gave us on screen memes!

Yeah, and no explanation in game anywhere which symbol represent what.

I mean, who made this and thought it was a better idea than the colored text from the PC version.

It really wouldnt be so bad if the symbol wasn’t only 3 millimeters across (if that)

This game has some serious design flaws that they changed for absolutely no reason on console. On PC the words are still there

Not that hard to decipher. Blue shield cold immune. Red should fire immune and so on.

And for anyone new to the game it’s not obvious what the purple color represents for example.

You know what’s even easier to “decipher” ?
immune to fire

I guess tiny red dot is ok too though. My problem is with the size more than it is with it being a symbol

Horrible decisions to do that, main problems with it are the size, and the fact that auto target doesn’t let you see it for more than a split second in the mob of creatures, so the one you want to kill most, could be taking no damage until you’re graced with enough clearing to target them for more than a second and see the icon, after squinting really hard at it…

I’m surprised this issue with the resistance/immunity symbols is still unresolved, after all this time. Even on PC, when you switch to gamepad, you get the darn symbols. Already scoured the options, and there’s no option to toggle to the text info instead of the symbols.

This literally could’ve been solved with a toggle in the options, and those that like the symbols, could have them, and those that prefer the text, could have it without having to use a mouse and keyboard, as the click spam can be hard on those of us with bad joints (and a gamepad is a bit more ergonomic on that regard).

So, yeah, kinda reviving this old thread, to see if the right eyes see it, however unlikely that may be.
