So I’m new to this whole uber trist running thing (got a budget smiter atm). Managed to do all 3 organ guys and went into uber trist. Got a little too ahead of myself and didn’t switch to wand to cast life tap on mephisto right before he died and he one shot me.
But now I don’t see the portal anymore? is this normal?
uhh no, you should still have your portal.
If you left the game, then the portal will be gone when you make another one.
You can make a named game in lobby and rejoin it though. I always make a named/passworded game when doing ubers so i can rejoin it easily.
All I can say is make sure to actually create a game and not just click “Play”. I had crashed in the middle of a solo Uber run, relogged into a substantial 100+ queue, and amazingly the game was still there to complete.
Had I known it wuld give me a 11/14 DTorch, I wouldn’t have bothered sitting through the queue.
the only thing i can think of is somehow it glitched underneath the others? i opened forgotten sands and matrons dens in here to get the organs (other one was in a diff game) and i still see those two portals but not trist

damn, and there’s probably no way to fix that huh? spent the whole day farming up those keysets so i could try to learn ubers, sad day
i failed my first key set too haha. lesson learned.
Don’t worry. Many old school D2 players failed their first time against the ubers. I failed my first time because I underestimated their power when they first released.
If anyone is wondering the answer is yes to people asking for the ubers to be nerfed a month or two after they were added to the game.
They should be nerfed. Literally 1 or 2 specs can kill them. It’s dumb.
I am fine with the difficulty. You just need to learn the mechanics. Even MMOs have 1-shot mechanics. To me Uber Baal, Uber Diablo, and Uber Mephisto are high risk/high reward bosses. I do understand that others don’t have my same stance but I want bosses that can’t be cheesed and actually take skill to beat.
Ubers difficulty very well balanced.
there are literally lists of the exact gear you need to do it bare minimum, along with exact guides on how to do it… not sure how you can fail ubers if you prepare properly >.>
My God nerf them? Check my old post on this, I just soloed them for the first time in hardcore on my frenzy barb. Why nerf literally the only piece of pvm content that requires a little bit of thinking to complete?
You can rejoin any game that was created with an Online Character by knowing the game name and password.
For games generated by using the Play button on the character select screen, you just need the games name. If you know the games name that was generated using the play button you can rejoin by entering the games name in both the name and password fields in the lobby.

I didn’t make a video, but I’m farming up a second set and I’ll make a video then.
Make sure you make your own password protected game and not random game/password. You can leave and rejoin. Portals will stay. Also I use two accounts. You teleport on sorc and kill organ bosses on smiter. Make Treachery for your smiter. Stand in a fire for evasion proc and switch to resistance chest after.
The game is about using the skills provided and the gear available to complete the content little one. They do not need nerfed you need to try harder.
