Which one should I socket?
I am also wondering, since Dusk Shroud has req of 70 str but enigma will give me much more str, does it immediately count that or I might not be able to equip Dusk Shroud if I am under 70 str and therefore Enigma’s str wont apply?
or can I equip enigma on using str boosts and then unequip str boost items and it will stay on?

you want archon plate has they have the higher armor for the str requirement, or mage plate.
but yesh dusk shroud could be good.
I believe Dusk is better than mage isn’t it has like up to nearly 500 def with Sup 10-15%, the max defense 5% one i found is 491, and yeah Archon is best but requires a bit more Str than Mage and Dusk
has i say both are good, you want archon has a better choice for enigma but if you dont want the def any armor with 3 socket could do it.
Archon Plate is the noob bait for Enigma bases.

generally speaking the order of best armor for enigma is (only high defense versions of these) archon > dusk > mage plate, though really the mage plate is only good for the fact it gives 3 sockets from lazruk and the better options you need to find or use the cube to roll 3 sockets.

DS or MP sounds better to me now
people say it because they feel that because enigma doesn’t give % based ED you should use a low base for it but mathematically it’s better for most classes to at least go dusk shroud because you need enough str for a monarch anyway.
i aleardy know the reason, i was just asking the one who said it the noob bait armor.
yeah just important to point out the stupid reasoning why people think they are smart even though you need 88str minimum without enigma in order to be able to use a monarch. and that is at level 99 and at least 108 str without it at 65 which is more than enough to have archon plate be bis at lvl 65 with only needing 103 str

Guys what about the part where i asked if I can equip enigma using str boosts like rings and charms and then take them off my and still have enigma working due to its str boost from lvl?

they removed strength bugging at least that is what i have read i haven’t actually tested it because i don’t bother with it.
Anyway, what we’ve learned is don’t use Archon Plate, it’s the noob bait Enigma base.
Strength bug doesn’t work, tested multiple times.
For me, im playing necro and breast plate look best on him so i’ll make enigma breast plate. Fashion > all 
at least use a Cuirass it’s still well bellow the minimum str you need to have for a spirit shield.
