Hi people… I have just started playing and have got to Duriel…. He killed me… not a big deal… but now every time I load the tomb I am dead before it loads…. I can’t even get a hit in? Any ideas?
The problem is he gets 2-3 hits on you while you are still in the loading screen due to a bug.
Only solution: leave the game, create a new one, get your corpse/equipment that will be placed beside you, proceed to kill Duriel with a party where melee chars heavy on vitality and AC or summones can tank him while you load into his chamber.
In single player grind in the tombs and invest the points in VIT and STR (for armor).
Thank you… I made the mistake of going back after I equipped a spare wand (sorc)… died again…. Now I have lost all of my gear…. 
This is an issue throughout the game. The load screen stays up even when using a portal, and your getting hammered before you can even see whats going on. Im playing with a buddy on PS5. We thought that maybe because the PS5 has faster load times that might be causing the issue…either way it sucks

I’m on ps4 and have lost a few HC characters to load times. Is ps5 much faster?
I figured it out after awhile. You have to wait after you die and watch Duriel until he goes off screen. Sometimes he just freezes right on top of you. I would just open a town portal outside before I would enter so i could get back quickly. So when he is going crazy after he kills you wait until he is off screen and continue.
