Quick question from a noob. I have been using Duress on my WW bark with two Grief phase blades. Damage from WW shows 729-904. I wanted more damage so I decided to equip Fortitude as it has the 300% damage boost, so I thought. But when I equip it the damage drops to 878. I am having difficulty understanding why damage would drop when I equip armor with 300%ED? I am not too knowledgeable in all this so just looking for some clarification. Thanks!
Grief gets itâs damage from the +340 to +400 bonus. This does not show on your weapon min/max, and it doesnât show on your character screen. This is an old bug called the âLying Character Screenâ.
The 729-904 damage is your phase blades base damage multiplied by skills and such, which is why this number is so low to begin with. If you add 37-133 cold damage, it will show directly added to your damage number. Take it away and that bonus is taken away,
Rest assured that the 300% enhanced damage is added to the non displayed +grief damage. You just wont see it. The 300% enhanced damage will only show from your phase blade base damage which is like 31-35 damage multiplied by 3.
So what you see is the 100 ish added damage to the phase blades, but with the cold damage, and small enhanced damage bonus of duress removed.
