Duping is here in D2R

Three different people on D2JSP posted the same JMOD, same color blue facets, and same defense.

i see the thread that hes talking about, 133 def jmod, posted in 3 threads, with two of which have 4 blue 5/5 light facets.

there have been quite a number of jmods popping up recently. they also seem to change hands very quickly because people pay a lot for these things, depending on the hour you could easily net a profit.

i would say this is nowhere near conclusive evidence of dupe. could be but i highly doubt it. there have been a lot of people rolling magic monarchs in hopes of getting jmod… if you roll a jmod there is a 1/15 chance to get 133 def, so it isn’t highly unlikely other jmods could end up with 133. and if you want to take it further, i would also be willing to bet that amongst the fg rich, blue 5/5 light die facet are the most sought after socket for jmod, bunch of pimped out javazons out there.

if there is a dupe, hopefully the same coding remains where multiple copies of an item will eventually cause duplicates to poof.

For the uninitiated this a Blue or Magic “Jewelers Monarch of blocking” is a 4 open socket shield (Monarch) with 4 perfect blue light facets in it (5/5) Die.

It’s a costly item…. But not impossible to have duplicate stats.

I have been corrected thank you.

Three identical ones tho? All around the same time?

The odds of getting a jmod are something like 1:15000 so just consider that the starting point for likelihood of gambling one (rerolling not worth). Then consider the same defense and the same color facets already socketed.

on jsp there have been hundreds of 141 shakos, dozens of perf griffons, full inventory of perfect life skiller , etc…

i don’t think you are comprehending how many folks participate on JSP. Just on D2R softcore there are nearly 3000 active users right now. post a thread, see how quickly it goes to the 2nd page…

and again by probability, there’s obviously going to be plenty of jmods with the same defense. it can only vary from 133 to 148, not a large range… this isnt conclusive… and the only character that uses jmod are javazons with sugar daddies. they are all going to have the same sockets…

What does that mean? What’s a “blue light facet”?

a lightning facet (unique jewel) with +5 lightning damage/-5 lightning pierce and upon death casts chain lightning. and the jewel picture is colored blue (not to be confused with a blue/magic item)

this. it’s the first, and only, advertisement you see from the site itself. “buy forum gold now!”

it’s a real money transaction.

what are you on? this isnt about whether you think jsp good or bad. yes jsp is rmt, now whats your point? without jsp everyone would just continue to use ebay & item sites. no difference.

Its been around since week 2 from my calculations.

Theres people who have DOZENS of annis. That means THOUSAND of sojs got sold.

huh what the h… if you really insist.

the majority of people on there use it as a easy way through rmt to get items in the game. That isn’t against ToS. You don’t get banned for buying items through ebay. It has been done since 2001. That isn’t against ToS.

yes I agree D2JSP history blows. Yes i agree there are hundreds of players on there that have benefited from amassing fg from botting in classic d2, wow, (insert any game) and making a profit from fg. but you know why blizzard doesnt want to shut it down? because there are unfortunately/fortunately thousands of legitimate players on there that haven’t botted. sure they’ve purchased fg but as mentioned it isn’t ToS to trade IG items for currency.

in a perfect world i would love for jsp to be shut down and blizz to have their own fg system with a great trading forum. but blizz is uninterested and leaves that market to sites like jsp, traderie, ebay, item sites, etc.

so keep crying. it isn’t going to change anything.

my point stands, jmods are plenty in a forum with loads of players. only 15 different possible defense, 133 def to 148 def. you will only see more and more 133s. dupes are possible but there is nothing conclusive to determine dupes are here yet. and again, if d2r is literally d2 then the game will actively try to poof dupes.

Dupes are here for quite a while.
Some days those Forums gets swarmed by High Runes. Any chance and coincidence in the world doesn’t explain those “weird” swings, except some people duped items.
Interestingly enough, when those runes getting thrown out, they are getting sold ridiculously “cheap”.

Too many coincidences.

LMAO! More people that don’t know what they talking about.

It’s not likely a dupes. You’d have hr’s duped first and see complaints of poofing runes(cause its fast and can move alot). 2 jmods with blue light facets is not enough to blame duping.

this forum lacks logic. everyone is a conspiracy theorist
