Can we get the druid to teleport and bo while shapeshift?
no we can’t. devs clearly have no idea about balancing (as proven in ROTW), and I doubt they’ve actually played the game to the endgame with any of the classes. druid will continue to be a C tier class unfortunately, especially shifter and summoner. werebears F tier.

Wait what? You are telling me there are Druids in this game? Why the hell did nobody tell me there was a Druid character?
Nah seriously, when I saw this I thought “when was the last time I actually saw a Druid in game”. Me thinks that some carrots needs to be given to the Druids & Barbarians of the world, as nobody plays them anymore.
most of my chars are barbs… got throw, berserk, frenzy, warcry…

for weapon you want an Eth Death Decapitator
you need at least 40 ias to reach your breakpoint with it ( 5/3/3/3/6) frame fury with metamophosis) and (5+(4)+7) with jalals ( this is reached at lvl 31 werewolf)
for most of the game i just use treachery, because the fade is amazing
for helm you want jalals until you can get your metamorphosis later on ( you will need resist from both a torch and anni and a fade prebuff before you can consider dropping jalals)
for most of the game you will be using angelic ring and ammy with a ravenfrost
by endgame you will be using highlords, that plus the 20 ias from laying of hand will get your your 40ias when you take off treachery
for boots, gores are what u want
for belt, dungos is good the more - physical resist the less the sunder charm is going to hurt you
as for your offhand ideally you want and eth zodded reapers toll..
but in the meantime a normal reapers is fine
before that u will be using a spirit sword offhand plus a sigon shield or lidless just for when u cast wolf and your summons, shift to wolf first when casting summon wolf has a faster fcr than human
as for skills, get 6ish points in werewolf and feral rage asap, ( always keep feral rage at an even level, odd levels have no effect other than 1 and 3, the tooltip is wrong)
also get 1 point in each summon wolf and dire wolf and grizzly and oak as soon as they become available . these wont deal any damage but they will tank for you to help you not get stunlocked,
when level you will put all excess points into lycanthropy ( that have been used to unlock skills) until you reach 30 and then fury with every point until its maxed before heading back to lycanthropy
after lycanthropy, i tend to go oak and then werewolf
i also put 1 point in werebear and shockwave.. its very useful for baal runs stunning the waves, and easily on you wont have much of a use in baal runs until you get your weapon. plus you will want a point in bear for when u eventually get metamorphosis
lastly i choose feral rage as my remaining points.. but you can also choose to go grizzly if u wish
for normal you can just use whatever weapon you find alone the way
once you reach 29 id trade for a ribcracker, and then for hell you can up your ribby unless u can grab said non reapers toll early ( early ladder is much easier to get the pul to up your ribcracker)
grab jalals and treachery asap
if u haven’t managed to get an angelic ring and amulet you may need to put more points into werewolf early for attack rating,
now for your merc
i choose act 3 merc fire for a few reasons
First is that fury has such a high physical %Ed that other auras and thing just add to that ED
if you have 300% ed from fury and adding 100% more from might or conc or fort will certainly deal more damage but it will be adding 100% to 300% for 400%
so you get diminishing returns
2nd phsyical immunes are killer and your minions deal no damage
act 3 fire merc will enchant your minion.. and while its not much a bear and 5 wolf and 3 dire wolfs each hitting stacks up tiny damage to be useful
#3rd is that he has an aoe in fireball.. which es VERY good against annoying physical immune like wraiths
as for his gear
early on give him a cure and a spirit sword and lidless and a stealth for fcr
for endgame you want as high as fire resist aura flickering flame as you can get
and a fireball or enchant ormus ( eth are actually cheaper if u can fine people who pick them up)
for weapon you want a plague for the cleansing aura because your merc will now have flickering flame
i have yet to determine where the new colossal jewel will go
i see why you would be upset about that, one thing i think they should add is bo while in shapeshift form of bear or wolf.
For pve for me its come to the point where I dont even use bo on swap anymore for my druid.
Its to much of a hassle
I just use the metamorp helm and get extra life from that.. and than use a Lacerator on swap to proc amp damage, its great for ubers.
Ive noticed that battle orders doesn’t actually add that much more life anyways once you got the meta helm so thats kind of why I tossed it out.
Its all in the same buff category so the % numbers just get added and there is no real noticeable difference between using Bo and not using bo once you got the rw helmet.
Its like 6.1k hp vs like 6.4 if I remember that correctly
