Dragonscale buff

Currently:

  • Adds 211-371 fire damage
    +15% to Fire Skill Damage
    +10 to Hydra
    200% Enhanced Defense
    25 to Strength
    +5% to Maximum Fire Resist
    Fire Absorb 20%

We all know that Dragonscale is quite a useless shield. The only usecase for it is for a budget Dragondin/Holy Fire Paladin.
There is a Meme build called a Hydradin, which is centered around the Hydra skill on this shield, and tbh, would be quite fun to play.

So what if we buff the Hydra skill and perhaps even the Fire Skill damage.
I think +25-30 Hydra Skill would actually be fine.
And 15-20 Fire Skill Damage could be a nice addition.

It won’t become a chase item, but it would allow a Budget Dragondin to be much more fun.
A full Griswold set with cheap facets would still be better, but it brings him a bit closer to a Budget Tesladin.
Furthermore the Hydradin would be fun to play.
An additional bonus would be, that a perfect Dragonscale would have some value.

Example:

  • Adds 211-371 fire damage
    +15-20% to Fire Skill Damage
    +25-30 to Hydra
    200% Enhanced Defense
    25 to Strength
    +5% to Maximum Fire Resist
    Fire Absorb 20%

I tested it with those stats and it was fine, HydraSorc is still better, Griswold with facets is till better with holy fire. But it’s fun to place down some Hydras, convert some enemies, providing conviction and stay alive.
Ormus is a good choice for the Hydradin there, before or instead of an Enigma.
For a Holy Fire playthrough it’s out of question because of the level requirement.

Some more insight, concerns or feedback is very welcome.
