Okay so I have an idea of how blizz could make up for their server issues.
Give us a double drop chance weekend or something like that. It will help boost the economy of the game, and it will be a little compensation for us buying a 20 year old re skinned game that does not work.
And the rush of players will cause the issues to return, so no, maybe they need to slowly roll out a fix, ensure everything is stable, add in more load balance, ensure that works, and then do something to cull the cry of “we need freebies!”
well yeah i mean after they fix the issues of course.
This isn’t a f2p game. They don’t need to do this to drive up engagement and MTX revenue.
Botters/hackers cause server issues from duping/hacking.
Legit players ask for compensation such as double rune drops.
Lets say Blizzard agrees and does this.
Botters/hackers get even MORE runes to dupe.
Nothx.

maybe work on it before they release it and people cant play half the time.
Maybe the problems they’re encountering are from hackers hacking the game? How could they fix those problems without the hackers hacking the game?
I get what you’re going for but this is a terrible idea. It would just destroy the rune economy and cause massive inflation. I would never want high drop rate events. The game is finely tuned around how the drop rates are now.
what rune economy? have u seen how expensive just a Lo is?

Occasionally I will see a Shael, or a Hel rune.
Realistically though, no lol the servers would absolutely explode with the amount of bots running during an event like that.
Where is the evidence this is being caused by “Botters/hackers”? There isn’t any.
Well… The original games troubled past with hackers/botters is one big clue. You think these people aren’t going to try hacking D2:R? Heheh
If there’s money to be made selling items, hackers are going to try.
I mean they were very clear that they were gonna use the release as a “beta” which is why there is currently no ladder.
Double of nothing is still nothing. Haven’t even seen anything vex or above yet. Anytime luck with runes is this bad it just makes you want to wait till the next fresh ladder season due to being so far behind with the same time invested.
Because of the trade economy, it wont happen.
