Double Queue. For real?

Had a Queue of 372 and waited for like an hour. Then I was at the point where I can choose my charakters, only that it was in offline list. I clicked to the online list and guess what. I was again in a queue of 256. Ty for another 1 hour waiting. This is for sure another Bizzcon 2018. Massive disappointemet. I feal like I thruw 40€ away with buying D2R.

Same. Went from 343 down to 22, then forced offline, then rejoined queue at 543.

yeah if you hit Escape on keyboard while waiting it brings you to offline play but you loose your spot in queue…

I hit that bug too. Blank character select screen, then hit a key and it said “you will now be playing in offline mode and lose your spot in the queue” and had to queue again.

There was no escape button hit. I was in queues 4 and went watching the movie I stopped on my TV. After I was back it was in offline list.

I’m on my 3rd queue. Been waiting 3+ hours.

wait an hour to enter, get a freeze or crash in the first game, go back to queue again and wait an hour more, repeat.

It’s not even freezing or crashing! Just a “Cannot connect to server” fault because they still haven’t pulled their collective cranium out of their collective rectum regarding the global database traffic jams.

I’m on my third queue this morning.

I thought I had pressed escape the first time or something, though I swear I had not.

The second time through the queue, I pressed nothing and anxiously awaited as my queue went down from 20.

At 2, instead of loading the character screen, it says, “Cannot connect to server.”

This morning I logged in at 5:30AM. At 6:34AM, my queue was complete, and I get an error message, “Cannot connect to server.”

At 6:38AM, I reentered queue. At 8:12AM, my queue was complete, and I get an error message, “Cannot connect to server.”

It’s now 8:16AM, and I have reentered at 483 in the queue.

Queue 3, wish me luck.
Edit: Yes this time it worked. After 1 hour and 57 mins and a double queue. I will inform you how long i could play and when i got a dc.

Same to me. Waited from 464 to 3, then booted to offline. Re entered at 382. I’m really doubting I’ll look into D4. Waited over 90 minutes this morning to play, then booted. I don’t have time for this and even though I love Diablo, pretty sure this it my limit.

The server crashing daily had less downtime for me than this. Idon’t care what reason blizzard had for starting a queue system, bring that back.

Good luck. I’m on second queue position 95. Hoping I get in this time, but if not I’m done for now.

What if my dog jumped on my keyboard?

Just had it happen as well - 380 queue or so - doing some reading while it counts down - gets to zero and brought to offline char list - click online - back in 438 queue

Have you even tried doing that? It’s not like you accidentally press Esc and it immediately goes offline. There’s a confirmation popup to make players aware they’ll be removed from the queue.
There’s been many, maaaany reports of this “forced offline lobby” issue on these forums, on BlizzCS twitters (NA and EU) and on D2 discord servers.

Yep. If your internet hiccups during the queue at any point it doesn’t say anything until it’s your turn to login, and then it goes to offline mode.
