Does weapon range affect CLEAVE range?

I am aware of the 360 radius, I want to know if I go from a small 1 hand weapon like a dagger, will my range of cleave increase with like a Mancatcher instead of the dagger.

I noticed a significant range increase when I went to using a Ghost Spear over my previous Thresher. The skill works a lot better.
