I have not found one since the release of D2R. Not that it’s really all that great. but just wondering.
Yes, it will still drop… It’s one of the more rare uniques to drop. Keep wrecking the high level areas of Hell and that gold “Legendary Mallet” will eventually drop… And probably be yet another Stone Crusher.

Please do elaborate? Why would it be easier to find there? If classic LoD refers to the “not d2r” LoD.

stone crusher is an expansion unique
so it is out of the legendary mallet drop table there making easier to get the other unique legendary mallet

Everything includes nothing, right?
Non-expansion has neither elite item bases or elite uniques (or exceptional uniques for that matter), so both Stone Crusher and Schaefer’s Hammer don’t exist there.
Bravata is incorrect on this one if he meant Classic as non-expansion, though he’d still be wrong if he meant LoD with the advent of Terror Zones in D2R anyways.

i literally said classic lod, and i can force drop schaeffer’s in 30 minutes of play. it’s pretty easy if you know all the secret pro tricks.
sometimes you guys make me feel like im the only person who understands this game from top to bottom inside out.
he died broke, in massive debt, bankrupt, didnt have a lab for his last 20 years, was evicted multiple times, never won the noble prize, and everyone called him crazy. only now do we call him a genious and the smartest man to ever live. i can relate mostly, except im a girl, but Tesla was very pro equal rights and once said women would rule the earth like queen Bees.

Nice trophy drop and one of the very few ‘real’ items in the last 2 weeks that have dropped for me.
Funny actually - Schaeffer’s, Messerschmidt’s Reaver and Stormlash have dropped.
Zero Shako or any other useable/trade-worthy(desired) Unique items, Sets or Runes.
Correction: NM Diablo DID drop a Tal Amulet so…yay!?

yah to all the casuals you look cool, but to advanced top tier players you look like a noob not knowing this basic info. rack targeting and mf capping has been a thing for many years now.
also, pretty disgusting you use a literal handicap to casually insult people on a forum you’ve never met. making fun of suicide is horrible and you should be ashamed.
Have fun finding a semi-consistent legendary mallet rack in an alvl 84+ area, also only applicable to offline players.

I would not know if it drops, as I have never found it, since D2/LOD/R was launched. I have found a bunch of other high level items, like coa, dweb, to name a couple. For runes I have found zod, sur, and ber, but no cham, or jah. Rng is a pita beast.
I have seen one or two streamers find them, in vods, never live. Very rare item
