Does magic find effect traps?

I heard that traps are considered minions but does stacking magic find on the assasin increase magic find when traps kill?

Does increased attack speed cause traps to attack faster?

They are considered minions and do not benefit from certain stats, such as +/- lightning damage, but enemies killed by traps do benefit from your magic find.

Your Attack speed dictates how fast you can lay traps. They always shoot at the same interval speed though
