I had some ideas for changes to items in the game that I thought would be great after having played for 2 decades. I’m not gonna make a big list by any means, but small stuff
Make cathan set staff a 1 handed orb weapon, so you can use a shield, same with Naj puzzler. Then I think the biggest one that will please the most people is change Warcry on Call to arms to shout. Then maybe Add more defense to tyreals might armor since it’s so rare. Those are my ideas. thanks for taking the time to read this
They may take the suggestions, but rarely if ever create something exactly like the fan suggested. At best, they’ll use bits and pieces of ideas from others and create their own idea.
Also, there hasn’t been any game changing activity for D2:R in some time. Other than some light patch work for bug fixes and tying up some loose ends, they’ve been ignoring this game. Suggest all you want, but don’t expect anything to come from it.
No, they don’t, even though its likely that the forum TOS includes a clause that any suggestions or ideas posted here become the sole properly of blizzard if implemented… or w/e.
its still unlikely… because some idiot will eventually sue and say “blizzard stole my idea” and even though blizzard would win the lawsuit, it would waste time and money… so pretty much every game company refuses to take idea from people aren’t like partners; Or through some special contest by the devs to get your idea put into the game where u sign waivers to submit the idea.
your best bet is to try to get a streamer who is a partner to suggest it so they can legally implement the idea without really having to worry about lawsuits.
DotA will forever haunt Blizzard.
