I heard it used to but then they changed whirlwind to classic whirlwind in the old D2 which doesn’t. So I am not sure. Let me hear you guys research and opinions, thanks!!
afaik the only IAS ww uses is the one on the weapon itself.
if you google D2 ias calculator you’ll find calculators to see what breakpoints you’re hitting, can’t link for some reason lol
Yes, but only ias on weapon itself contributes. So only certain weapon and socket combinations can reach the last breakpoint to get maximum hits. There’s also some free hits you can get by doing your whirls a certain way.
WW is only affected by IAS on the weapon itself. 34% for zerker axe to hit last break point for example.
Yes but the IAS needed varies from weapon to weapon. 34% IAS is for a specific weapon, not all weapons. You need 70% IAS on the IK maul to hit the last break point, for example.
ya i should have came back and edited my comment to zerker axe for example instead of just last break point… mb, ill fix that
time for a brew - cheers
Only the weapon ias matters for ww. So for grief any roll phase blade works. For zerkers for pvp you need 34% ias or better. Ias in other gear has no effect whatsoever when it comes to ww.
