Does a Mage plate enigma lose value more than an Archon plate?

I’m thinking of making a mage plate enigma for the lower str req, would it be worth less than an Archon plate when it comes the time i need to trade it away?

Probably, if you want 15 ED base, MP is Ohm and AP is Ber, but honestly if you’re using it yourself why bother with thinking re sale, you going to have enough enigmas to sell an extra one? Almost every toon want one as their armor

yes but for gameplay purposes mage plate is much much better

archon plate str is a bit high just for a few extra hundred defense

  1. Honestly you rarely trade an enigma away because it can be used in so many builds.

  2. For it to work in various build, the less str requirement the better.

  3. The enigma def is flat value. Tbh a 1000def mage plate enigma and 1400def ap enigma hardly makes any difference in game.

  4. I saw a few in discord wanting to swap away DS AP enigma for MP based. Yes right now.

who is selling 15ed mp for ohm? I’ve only seen them go for Lo+, I dont see really value lost here since many classes uses mp

Depend how u weigh between spending to pump about another 48 strg for the 300 more def or saving it to place in vitality with a lesser 300 def. Comparing on:

15ed mageplate 301 def req 55 strg
15ed archonplate 603 def req 103 strg

If you dont really mind the extra 300 more def and would rather spend your stats on vitality then go ahead with mage plate. The value will still be there. Some people would rather save the stats to add more to vitality.
Using mageplate usually for caster. And just by wearing a few items like boots or glove or ammy or charms that add abit strg u can wear mageplate without even need to add a single points to strg on your stats.

I have made two 15ed enigma, i think i paid ohm for the base both times.
So u can find it, just may take awhile.

If you want a non-superior base for cheap repairs, I have a 261 defense 3 socket mage plate for Vex
