this is 100% serious question, all you people that suggest this insane changes,
do you even play the god damn game?
I haven’t heard too many crazy changes being proposed here.
I guess that one that wanted rifts, but I think they were joking?
8 months worth in last three years, got a new plugy acct going this last week.
i do agree, people who play the game know it need only graphic touch up as diablo2 its kind uncompatible on new systems, modern battle.net also help with booting + shared stash… thats all what it need to be bst game out there for another 20 years
I played the game about 10+ years ago.
Negative. Game is going to need something more than a graphics skin to keep me interested when I already have a perfectly running plugy. Never did plugy before, but so far, outside of gold pickup, it does more than D2R
Yeah. In a perfect world I would want an exact replica of D2’s glory days.
Sadly though, I do think they should do something about the inevitable botting in D2R. I don’t think leaving bots to their own devices is a good idea, and for that reason I think additional anti-cheat choices need to be made.
Other than that, though, I hope most things stay the same, though some things will definitely change when it comes to gameplay. It’s not the same game.
a bot free would be more then enough, graphics are just a bonus imo.
Yes, but bot free is impossible, this is why many are arguing for things like (that thing that is discussed in 4000 threads and wont be mentioned here) lmao
Have everyone press “yes” to not using bots.
Just make it easier to report spam-bots.
And ban everyone who actually gets caught.
Then have them purchase the game again.
true, its just a wet dream
by the way, the biggest reason that i kept playing classic for like 15 years, because hackers didnt care of it, and it was bots free till like 2015 i think?
still remember that day when first bot hit d2 classic, damn, everyone just quit instantly. was so sad.
All people who can post here have preordered the game.
It is fine for those who have never played the game, who occasionally play, who casually play the game to voice, same as you and me, who play a lot.
Ofc they play. You know “i mostly played solo” “hell was to difficult for me” “without bots you cant get loot” “immunites are bad” “how about mounts in d2r” type of players already have proved that they have very deep knowledge of the game.
Okey and? so its hard…
what about games like counter strike and pubg.
“the recoil is insane, i cant hit anything”
lets remove the recoil!
do you see where i am going?
casual games dont last long, the harder the game, the more fun it is, even if its frustrating.
I get the sarcasm, but don’t sell solo players short. A lot of them (us, I guess) are very knowledgeable about the game. Not saying me personally, and specifically I know nothing about realm economy and dynamics, but it’s not rocket science.
Ofc i understand you
I also prefer counter strike. But the sad reality that there are alot of fortnite kids also. But the problem starts when counter strike devs listening to the fortnite community…
I have meant those players here who are supporting changes left and right but they only knowledge was solo play and start to tell us what is better loot option.
i dont deny the fact, that the game is completely unfair and unbalanced for solo players, but we must understand 1 thing, this game was actually made, to be played in multiplayer, if you try to see the entire picture, you can clearly see, that it was ALL built around team play.
PLUS, there is an important point i would like to address.
THE GAME, ENDS IN ACT 4/5 NORMAL! this is the game, nightmare/hell was built for multiplayer, they simple didnt import things correctly.
it makes perfect sense if you think about it, a simple quick solution, to make game harder for multiplayer, when they made nightmare and hell, it obviously were pointed into team play and not solo players.
I don’t feel my suggestions are crazy (buff badly underperforming stuff, stash size increase (no charm), and a few others) the simple answer is yes… and have been since the game was launched with no real breaks of never playing D2 for more than maybe 3-6 months.
“Need” maybe… but it should get more skill support in the very least. Getting some of the underperforming playstyles to be better would do a lot as it would increase ways to engage with D2.
Part of the issue with this mentality, to me, is what is the glory days? To some it is 1.08, 1.09, 1.10, 1.12, etc.
Game was perfectly fair before 1.10 in solo. Y’all act like game launched to be some brutal extreme griefers paradise. Is game still fun, yes. But could be improved. Stop acting like people supporting change are just D3 kiddos, noob casuals, or never put any serious time into the game before.
