Disconnected from server many times - every 5-30 mins of gaming

Problem
Ping bounces. I’ll be playing at under 100, then a few seconds later it goes up to couple hundreds.

Rubber band and laggy feeling - I have a high end PC setup, so it isn’t my system. Any time when I click or make an action, it may take couple seconds for the response.

Server disconnects - Sometimes I can play for an hour without getting disconnected from the server, but most of the time it only lasts a few mins to 20 mins. This causes my character to lose in some boss battle. Any second it can be around under 100, then 5-10 seconds.

Date and time

I got back into D2R earlier this week and it has been an issue for a week now. I remember I played this game when it first came out, had the same issue so I stopped playing. Was too hard of a grind. I’m wired

IP Address/ISP/connection type
Connection with xfinity/Comcast. I don’t want to post my ISP addresss here. It is available if needed from tech support. I live in a smart home and wired in. I’d have the same problem if I jump on my wireless. I get disconnected from the game server, not anything else. My internet/network maintain connection and connected at all times during gaming.

Edit: How do I attach the traceroute and WinMTR file here? Do I just copy and paste the text here?

Am here because experiencing the same as you.
Good setup and connection, good ping anywhere else. Only Diablo 2 resurrected fails and connexion is closed on a random basis, like you, could be 2min to up to an hour.

Same issue. Except it actually kills me routers internet connection completely. Restarting the modem/router fixes it until we play D2R again

Same here. Disconnections every 2-3 minutes. Have very strong internet connection. Bought Prime Evil Collection yesterday.

I am having the same issue seems they are happy to take our money but dont give a dang about fixing things. I play D3 just fine but with D2 sometimes it disconnects when I am entering a game. its ridiculous

I’m having the same random disconnect issues. I have D2R on two different machines and either one of them will random disconnect at different times… or sometimes one or the other is rock solid with not disconnect issues.

Its gotten so bad that I’ve just create a game with both account so that I can save my progress if one of the system decides to disconnect.

Have not had any off these issues playing other blizzard games (D3 and WoW).
