Let your kid play alone Diablo 1 from GoG at night, zero lights and full volume speakers, from Intro cinematic until butcher.
D3 is most likely the better ARPG, it just sucks as Diablo main series game. Should have been Diablo Mystery Dungeon or something like that + an real D3 later, everyone would have been happy.
uhm no diablo 3 doesnt even come near being a decent game, let alone a good ARPG
D3 is just an arcade action game.
No more and no less.
Lets say you go to a restaurant and order a meal off the menu. 15 minutes later, a man comes over and climbs on top of your table, drops his pants, and squats over your plate.
You shout, âI donât want that!â
He responds, âhow do you know you wonât like it? itâs not even out yet!â
Maybe he can 
a pound of bread out whole. Youâll never know. Maybe his does tastes good. Itâs on the menu for a reason.
Different game, different goals. D&D is pen and paper, I can make whatever level I like, any encounter imaginable. The sky is the limit. Thus, the point is the adventure and the time spent with others.
Its fine that you want to âfinishâ a build. Thatâs cool. I think thatâs boring in an ARPG.
