Differences between D2R and the original Diablo II

Hi,

I decided to write about it.
I’ve noticed some difference in the graphics display in legacy mode in D2R compared to the original version of the game years ago. What I mean is that in D2R, when you switch to legacy mode, you can see that the image is composed of squares, and this is especially visible when you zoom in. In original Diablo II there was definitely not this thing.

Second thing - developers should add legacy option to main menu, Battle.net lobby and other menu items.

Keep up the warriors!!!

Why? If you want to play legacy D2, you can play that. What is the point of remaster when you would all play it in old mode?

because of more players simple you didnt know?

I’m talking here about the differences that I noticed. If they’re adding legacy mode then let it look the same as the original

What?

Yeah sure. Honestly i dont understand why they even have legacy mode there anyway.

I could care less about graphics, games are all about game play to me, but being there is an advantage to wide screen in updated version will have to play laggy graphics version.

speaking of differences im honestly surprised how few people are commenting on how rejuves arn’t instant anymore XD… which is good imo.

I did not know that rejuves are not instant. They slowly fill up like regular health and mana potions? I’m not sure if I like that. What’s the difference between a regular rejuve and a health potion then? Apparently nothing.

At least for me will be interesting if they add some kind of ’ low specs mode ’ launching the game with old main menu and legacy default mode.

Actually I doubt my computer can handle D2R and I hope there is an open beta to check if I can run it. ( CPU i3 2100 - GPU Nvidia 750 ) :sob:

Things are not looking good at market to renew computers right now ( low stocks, high prices… ) and I’m pretty sure lot of people are in a similar situation.

Also I don’t know if while playing you change to vanilla graphics the demand of CPU/GPU is several reduced or if it’s the same, some1 know about this?

Any case if have a legacy main menu don’t delay the release of the remaster it can’t hurt

but the actual hp numbers go up more slowly on the screen as well as well though… i mean granted its still WAY faster the a normal post or a mana pot but… its dones’t seem “instant”

Yes I agree rejevs need to be addressed at least as a display option.
I understand its a more pleasant arcade looking for casuals. But it is critical for competitive gamers to have accurate live display when life is doing yoyo under-geared or in hell.

As If they not gonna fix that for next update lol
