Mephisto is now dropping nothing, even trash legendary items. If blizzard doesn’t want players to do fast runs, just make a character enter queue after the battlenet queue.

This pains me to read, I have had a plethora of stuff ranging from multiple Shakos to Occy and on and on drop… have yet to see that damned belt.
but OP the drops are fine, there was no shadow nerf, it is what it is, the more you kill the more stuff drops, with the lingo you used I am going to assume your a D3 player which, welcome.
But also, your expectancy of reward vs time invested needs to come down significantly. People can go entire days, weeks without finding anything of any real value or use to yourself.
Keep at the grind. 
Also the faster he will rely the drops are RNG and even a few hundred runs wont hit the expected droprate for a shako or whatever he is farming for.
Look at RS, they have a kill and collection tracker, you can see people with 1 kill count extremely rare pets, and people who are dry, having killed the boss enough times that, statistically speaking.
RNG is RNG, unless they have a backend “bad luck protection” that keeps waiting future rolls based on past rolls, which will mean the game has a hard limit on how many kills you need to farm before you see one high end drop.
And, ok, i did 20 minutes…

Nah, drops have not been changed. This is exactly (give or take some up and down spells of no uniques, no sets, then 3 set items at once, etc. Hell, i can’t count how many times Andy no dropped me over all the years. O,o)
The real issue is, as evident in the OP’s statement, ‘trash legendary’ items.
Well, anyone played this game for a long long time, knows (first, they are called Uniques) and second, how elusive the non trash items can be… Additionally, if you had NOT ran to youtube or twitch, and made notes of exactly what to seek, and how to power play, you would not have any idea half these items even existed… not yet. Too new.
But, in your eyes, you’ve put in time, give no crap about the other items / stuff in the game, and are set on one minded thinking, with expectations that are not realistic in this game.

Yep. Drop Rates decrease when people complain on the forums. This has been standard practice in D2 since 2000.

This. That’s why I no longer marathon a single boss over and over. The game is so much more fun for me now that I farm multiple things in each act of every game. Consequently I find more good stuff because I’m enjoying it enough to play more.
They nerf drops each time someone post about it.

Uniques can only drop once per game, therefore every time an unwanted unique drops the odds of having a better item increases.
