Diablo Clone every 4 hours is too much

Hello to everyone here.
I am not sure that everyone realizes how much Diablo Clone we re getting on european softcore ladder.
One spawned yesterday a bit before midnight.
Another one a couple hours later, i killed it 30 minutes ago
Another one just spawned, dead too

That s 3 diablo clones in less than 8 hours

And it will go on like that all day.

Running in Travincal, say hello to diablo
Saying hello to the cows ? not today, today Diablo is the king
Stuck in the frayer dungeon ? dont worry Diablo is here to show you the way.
and the list keeps going

It s been more and more. 1 per day, 2, 3, 5, obviously today will break a new record.

Annihilus has lost all value on the market, but, more annoying, I m starting to look at the game differently.

Because either no one knows, or no one care, looking in Blizzard’s direction.

After the patch it s been like 24hrs with no progress (if i remember, more like 16 hours), since then, it s been increasingly worse than before.

I wonder what exactly is at play there. Make people sick of D2 so they go play D4 ?

Why is euro ladder the only platforme plagued by this problem ? Why not the other platforms. What’s done on US and Asia that is not done for EU ?

I m missing a point here, can someone help me ?

Thanks for reading me.

Botters selling sojs. Why? Idk, its dumb to be honest.

but why does it happen only on EU ladder ? i follow asia and us clone tracker, and… well, “this” does not exist out there.

I find this Topic relevant, interesting & funny.
I do agree with OP.

I go after Baal…Diablo Clone is the next minion to fight.
I go after Nithakla…Hello Diablo Clone again.
I go after Countess…Not Diablo Clone again.

Diablo Clone should spawn once a week or month. Every 4 hours is too much.

Diablo Clone in travincal with half the council is not a fun experience, with the hydras and all.

the impact on the market is disastrous, and even i like a little bit more difficulty, once dclone is ready to be unleashed, it can mean facing it without warning anywhere with a crowd, and losing Exp at level 90+ is not so much fun.

still i d like to understand, why europe, and not other platforms ? better bot protection ? more moderators / operators ? i dont know how things work on that side. Did the other platform acted against botting, or is EU specifically targeted ?

It’s not just in EU, there several walks US and Asia server aswell.
Nobody will do something against bots. It got out of hand and too many people support RMT. With D2R the mechanics even changed the way walks appear due to how the server works, all that together made the most desireable smallcharm worth nothing.

All we can do is to play legit and don’t determine our selfconfindence by how many items we have :frowning:
Sadly there too much people out there that have way too much time and not enough ambition to play this game legit.
For the devs it would be too much effort to handle the situation properly, while they even profit when they just ban those botter once or twice a year. We would need a cheatprotection that ban accounts who using bots every week then we would have way less walks.
Just don’t let this discourage you, just play legit and have your fun with the game

i follow the tracker and neither US or Asia get multiple walks per day, not even multiple walks per week (recently. Asia did at start of ladder, organized by streamers, that s normal, community, group coordination, etc. that s what how it should always be)

3rd dclone went down last hour. we just passed step 3 of the next one. meaning it will be ready to serve around 15 and we are now definitely on a 6 per day basis. that s insane.

i m afraid that this seems to be the only “new thing” this season, in EU at least. Patch was empty, people play a lot less those last 15 days. I wonder if the season will end before xmas or if it will push until january. it will be very quiet by then.

and next ladder, what ? even more botting ?
that will definitely not force me to D4 or any other blizzard game. I guess i ll get back on solo RPG playing soon or later. wanted to retry multi player, it s been 22 years since i touched D2 the first time, installed it on nearly 200 computers, people were playing in teams, it was nice to see, fun, exciting, new.

maybe blizzard should just stop trying, and maybe that s indeed what they are doing currently.

after all, since WC3 and D2, not much happened, except one recent huge financial transaction.

I’m in the dclone sever on discord, and there you can see that there was a walk yesterday on asia for exmaple and one like 50 minutes ago. 15h ago there was an US walk. In D2R it does not even matter at all where the walk is either. You can look up planned walks and switch the server. And even besides that “planned” walks, there many other botter who start doin walks.
In LOD it was a little different, walks only appeared on the IP where the sojs been sold. So not every player from NA for exmaple got the walk only those who been on that certain IP.

Getting an anni became a big joke, people only do these walks now in hope to get their 20/20/10 lol

there s been 2 more walks since my last post. grabbed a 19 19 10 2hrs ago.

i m not sure i get the point of all that ?
it’s fine, nothing can be done, so let’s just act as if nothing was happening ?

ok then 8 walk today, we’ll see if tomorrow there are 10 of them, and maybe there will be one walk every 20 minutes soon, and, well, that s how it is, nothing can be done.

wow

I’ve seen them rapid fire two or three times 15-20 minutes apart before… It’s insane. These reports of rapid walks means Blizzard needs automated regulation of how many SoJ’s it takes to walk DClone.

1: If there are a lot of SoJ sales happening, the required SoJ count raises for each successive walk…

2: If the sales have been quiet after a spike of walks and DClone hasn’t walked in a set amount of time, the SoJ count starts lowering back to normal levels… (And may even trigger a walk without people actively selling SoJ’s if the threshold is lowered below the current count)

I mean what can you or anyone of us do about it? It’s not in our hands sadly. And the devs really showed us many times that they don’t care about all this anymore. There so many posts from people who reasonably ask for changes to stop all this behaviour, it’s been so much that you can literally see they give a f. Feels just a big waste of time asking for changes anymore.
To me there is no point to arc up about it. It’s not like it effecting my life, in the end it’s just a game.

Phr0zen, Blizzard stopped caring about D2R as soon as the initial sales started slowing.

We were lucky to get the updates and ban waves we got. I had hoped Uncle Phil would talk them into caring about this segment of the Diablo community again, but it looks like we’re neglected and forgotten, like Marius in a dirty cell at the end of the asylum.

surprising coincidence, 1 walk yesterday, and since then, just on step 4.

it has to be a coincidence, in case it is not, thank you to whoever pushed the ban button.

Coincidence.
One of the streamers was/is sick.

Orcinus, you really think that 40 to 50 walks per week are organized by a streamer ?
that’s cute, and nearly 3500 stones of jordans if things didnt change.

Crazy but on America realm there were at least 3-4 walks yesterday alone.

I suspect a dupe is making the rounds, but I’m not certain.

I wouldn’t even say that they are all dupes, there just so many bots.

not by a single one, no.
Especially not when there are walks simultaniously on more than 1 server.
But some (not all) walks are organized by various streamers.

You have no idea what you are talking about.
There are 726 possible variations, so the chance to get a perfect anni is 0.0013%
odds is 1/726 nab.
