Will there be achievements in the PC version of the game, as in the console versions?

I can’t believe they made an achievement for lvl 99 in HC. That’s going to be the rarest achievement ever. Especially when you can get attacked during loading screens…

I was really hoping this would also hit the PC version. Something extra fun to do.

I would also really like that. It would give the players other thinks to do what they usually wouldnt. And you could collect all sets and uniques as a collector without need to keep them.

Wait are there achievements for console but not PC? that sucks achievement hunting is fun.

Hate to be that guy, but is it really necessary ? I’m a bit fascinated. Achievements are purely a psychological thing. Your creativity is your limit, and your own satisfaction is the biggest achievement. Anyway, it’s fine if they do add achievements, I’m not against it.

I think Achievements would be cool. I’m guilty of enjoying them myself. In fact that’s something that other blizz games have done well is their achievement system, like D3 and WoW. Totally would be awesome in D2.

Bit surprised and disappointed that achievements haven’t been incorporated into Battle net itself by now. Especially since activision seems to want their games on it.

Yeah, sorry if that came across pretentious. Achievements are fine. Like I said, just fascinated by the human psychological aspect of it. Like, it’s just a text that comes on the screen and congratulates you on, I don’t know, killing Griswold. Why are people so hooked ?

Either way, sometimes it’s just nice to have a more general/global checklist for things you have done across your games.

i like them cuz its almost like the games egging u on… like betcha cant do this this one… and then youre like oh yeah and then grind it out lolol idk i guess it creates another goal for you to have in the game

Yeah fair enough, good point. It’s like the game is giving you goals. I can respect that.
