It would be good to try an open world server, where when an NPC dies, it respawns on random side of the map, adding some quests to go out in groups, divided into factions you would be chosen at LVL10 >> Before you would just be a Newbie (name in green) Then you can choose your faction. to encounter others and when you meet another player outside of safe zones you can attack, depending on the faction>> Citizen (Name blue) vs Criminal (name in red) or neutral (name in gray, can attacks both) Maybe create clans, organize wars, and with each death outside the town you could lose items from your inventory or maybe not. I think the Diablo community agrees that it’s the best of the series; I just managed to buy the remaster this year due to my economic situation and that of my country. but now is better .thanks god.Best regards Caballito , Argentina
The president you have seems to me to be selling the country to corporations and Blackrock, i.e., the super-rich hiding behind them.
Let’s hope these people can’t hold on forever.
D2R is already good. D2 is, overall, the best Diablo game so far, yes.
Blizzard is constantly trying to make money from this game and is therefore turning it into a kind of service and redesigning it massively into a kind of endgame spiral.
That’s why the follow-up titles always fail miserably.
Once you realize that you don’t have to build an endgame game, but rather a game that starts at level 1 and has an end, that the journey is the destination and that everything has to be filled and spread out, you will create a better Diablo again.
However, I doubt that the decision-makers at Blizzard have the wisdom to do this, as these people are generally not gamers, but want to make more money from money.
In other words, the kind of people the world doesn’t need.
Your idea is difficult for me to grasp. Maybe it’s okay, maybe it’s not.
Too much of this going on in the gaming industry. Look at Nintendo. Mr. Iwata - gone. Reggie - gone.
Now it’s just a bunch of number crunching suits running the place and it shows.
AAA studios are all becoming like this. That’s why the only games that really impress me anymore are indie titles, made by gamers, for gamers.
Evo: why not just scream Hollow Knight: Silksong ? XD thats praticly what your shouting by talking about “indie titles” XD
That is definitely a good and popular example, but it’s not what I had in mind lol. I haven’t played hollow knight.
I was thinking of the ones I’ve played: outer wilds, valheim, inscryption, subnautica, barony etc
Pre-LOD the characters were balanced for single player, but the game was balanced for multipler.
LOD+ the characters are balanced for multiplayer, so much so they don’t need any other players - so the game is essentially single player even online.
There is a happy medium there - but these OP runewords won’t allow that.
