Hi,
I have a lvl 79 fire elementalist druid and has 97 attribute points left to spend (plus a lot more 'til lvl 85 that is easy to achieve). With an Oak Sage I have almost 1800 health and I have Rhyme for CBF/Res/Mana Reg. Resists are at 75%, mana usage is good.
Which one do you think is better: Dexterity to increase Block Chance or Vitality to further increase Life? I know Vitality is always a good choice, but when I looked at certain guides to see if I am using the skills properly I saw that the “recommended(?)” pts to spend on Dexterity is ~100 for 75% block. Would this help more than having tons of life instead?
Thanks!
I think life still gives more surviveability.

Well, with block animation not interrupting anymore, if it was my druid and I had that much life already pvm, I would choose the max block.
Keep in mind that block CANNOT block spell (Actually some but really few), also you have 1/3 of block chance while running. Meanwhile HP help agaisnt everything including melee.

Since ele druids are almost like melee (very close to the mobs) i would go for max bock… With Oak sage, decent charm inventory and bo you still gona have like 4-4.5k life wich is more than enough!

Thanks everyone for your opinions so far!
I am an Ohm-short of a CTA.
I have spent too much time experimenting with different builds, I did not grind too much for runes and the bests so far were 1 Vex, 2 Mals and 1 Ist. Vex is already in my HotO.
and have you noticed ur defense goes to zero when running
