Game crashes at the title screen or with in a couple minutes of gameplay.
Here are the things I have done and specs. Things I have tried. Uninstall / re-install game and GPU drivers
run D2 and battle net as admin. Turn off all boot programs. Make sure nothing else is running.
Turn off all GPU related post processing

So Blizzard has given me no other course of action to request a chargeback tomorrow. And if you’re going to say. “You’ll get your account locked.” Oh noes looks like I’m not going to get to play the game that I Checks Notes can’t play. Sad its come to this.
All Digital sales are final, but they do make exceptions. The refund process is two steps. The first is automated so that if you qualify for one easily, you get it taken care of right away instead of waiting for a GM.
If the auto system denies you, then you use the appeal link in the reply to request a GM review it.
A game that has not been played that won’t start is usually eligible for a refund unless you have a history of refunds or are banned/suspended.
Sounds like you have not played at all so a GM should be able to review it and authorize it. I assume you put in an appeal?
Did you try to enable v-sync to help your GPU a bit? I have similar setup, but I have a GTX 1060 6BG and the CPU is 2600X and I only experience crashes every once in a while. I dont even run the game from SSD. While I personally does not feel the difference performance-wise, but I turned down all graphics, so I run it in native full HD, fullscreen, v-sync enabled, but everything else off.
What counts as played? loading the game over and over after crashes? Then yeah I played a lot. Most of the time I can’t clear the loading screen to even attempt offline.
I don’t. This was kind of the last straw. Ironically I was excited about this game because so much of it was farmed out to VC. So I figured it would be solid at launch. Welp.
It is what it is. The only diffence between a ban and now is that I’m not going to be able to play Blizzard games. But I’ll have 40 bucks. Can’t ban me from what I can’t even play now.
Generally game progress/hours played. If you can appeal and point out that you are still level 1/2 and have no progress then they will likely approve it.
If you have been playing and have hours of progress though, then no, they won’t refund it.
Idk what does but how much time did you get to play and how is your offline experience ?
Trying to decide if you actually waited to long or simply relying on the online version … which does a lot of if you deserve a refund of not at least to me
Some other things to try:
1: Go to www.amd.com and download the latest chipset drivers for your system board. (based on chipset, b350/b450/b550/x370/x470/x570)
2: If your system is overclocked, reset back to stock clocks! (CPU/RAM/GPU)
3: Check to see if your system board has a firmware update available. (they often provide stability updates, especially if you’re running the first/early firmware revision)
All digital sales are not final. Maybe do some research before you give misinformation. In Australia we have rights and can get a refund if a game is broken like D2R. Digital or not.
So I hobbled together a run crashes and all to Diablo. That’s some hours. But does Blizzard deserve my 40 bucks for a trial? Nothing else works like this. If you bought anything. and it stopped working after 10 hours of use you would get a refund. How is this different? But it doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Let Visa take care of it.
If I contacted consumer affairs over this game id get a refund easy. Gaming companies like Blizzard often think they are above Consumer laws in many countries. But when they get challenged they always usually lose. Havnt lost a refund case yet myself. This game is one of the worst but im still here hoping it gets fixed but not for much longer.
