How is Delirium on a act 1 merc doing in patch 2,4? Thinking if it could be a god setup for cows and chaos runs?

I tried it on my main, it gets really annoying after awhile turning into a doll. I would expect Mercs do not turn correct?
I think mercs converts to doll’s too
