Game is out for few weeks. I play every evening for few hours (2-3) after 9PM except for two days when I raid in TBC classic at the same time. I have 89 sorc and 80 paly. I’m doing 1-2 min Meph runs with 580MF and have pretty much everything of him. The only runeword I have is Hoto on paly. And yeah. I have all my life before 9PM and on weekends. I enjoy my pool in FL every day. Beach is on weekend. On Sat we go to Busch Gardens on Howl-o-scream.

im sorry that happened to you, and i thought losing my Stealth runeword was bad… If i can ask tho, how have you been farming high runes? Do you play online? I can do countess runs on nightmare pretty good, i consider myself decently geared (Hammerdin pally. Spirit sword, spirit shield, magefist, decent resists) but im getting wrecked on hell even trying to do countess runs. I need the gear to survive hell, but i need hell to get the gear it seems…
Thats exactly what you should do. I always went carefully slow on that character menu because I knew how dangerous that delete button was. Still got owned by a moment of not paying attention.

i had just been spamming hell cows for a few days.
it’s really nothing more than just pure luck. i did maybe 50-100 runs over the last ~3 days.
typically i will join a baal/chaos, help them clear, then go to a1 and open a portal while they kill diablo/baal
This is why you press esc to exit the game, I still can’t fathom why people think an x under the char panel means to exit the game.

Controller is superior to keyboard and mouse on this game. Theres no debate about it. I’m as surprised as anybody but it feels great to use. I can control my characters walk/run speed precisely, easier than keyboard skill layout and the nameplates over enemies feels better too. First arpg I’ve ever used a gamepad on and despite this ridiculous X to delete characters, everything else has been amazing.
i have a sorc too, cold sorc level 75, pretty much maxed out all skills for max damage. I have a few skill boosting items, but im almost positive i could not clear hell cows with the current damage i do. Any suggestions boosting damage?

This is nuts! I havent even tried controller yet cause i figured there was no way it could be better for this game than mouse and keyboard. Is that why i cant ever get a drop off a boss??
I tried TC87 zones and Cows and only found Mal so far. I found two Ists off Meph, traded few items for Ists and combined 4 into Vex to make Hoto. Next goal is to get 8 Ists for Ohm and make CTA unless I find Ohm or Vex. No rush for me. I’m not planning to play ladder and have all my time.
i’m sorry man. i did the same thing almost 2 weeks ago. hurt so bad lol. 82 sorc with tals and a newly id’d shako (which was gg gear for 2 weeks ago before the economy got flooded with them lol)
did you spend your talents properly? it’s important to pick up the synergies with ice blast/glacial spike etc.
Having some +skills on equipment helps a lot.
I was actually having some trouble with other stuff like andy/meph prio to upgrading some of my gear due to lack of resists. So cows became appealing to me. Low amount of casters/immunities, pretty easy to kite. Just be careful teleporting
I feel ya OP, when its a late late night of farming you can just click stuff accidentally.
