blizzard treats the lives of humans like toy things playing with our emotions to see how far they can push us
Ill admit it hasnt been the smoothest launch but many people are playing and they are working dilligently to fix problems for us. I have been playing and just had to log off because of maintence. I will be back in 3 hours after a hike and lunch

if you’re talking about that your characters aren’t visible right now, that because of server maintenance, not that they’re deleted

One, you don’t have any grounds because you haven’t actually suffered any loss. All the characters/ items/ etc that you created/ found on blizzards servers are blizzards property.
Two, they would be covered under TOS and EULA, so again, you have no grounds.

They offer refunds, as for punitive damages i suggest you read the EULA.
I guarantee you that the folks at Blizzard are more pissed off than we are about the issues.

Sure, it looks scary, but it’s pretty much the same thing as trying to log into WoW but having “Servers are down” pop up

They would need to prove I suffered no dramatic emotional damage so yes, there is a grounds for this.
You can sign/agree something sure, but that doesn’t give them the right to treat you in a inhumane way without any repercussions. Blizzard needs to take responsibility for the damage they are causing to the very same people who buy their games which keep their lights on, but evidentially not their servers
There’s literally nothing you can do about it. You agree when you sign up to play this game that everything on your account is owned by Blizzard. They can delete whatever they want with no issue.

Lol I see something about class action lawsuits every Blizzard launch. Enjoy wasting your own money bringing this to the courts and then being counter sued by Blizzard to pay for all court fees once you lose.
