please fix dualshock should not acvtivate while screen is loading and shouldnt be dead upon loading… come on guys between the lack of features and bugs this game is an atrocity

The fact that you die by Duriel BEFORE you load in is frustrating as well as disappointing. A simple bug that should have been noticed!!!
I’m Lvl 22 Sorceress on console dying over TEN times by Duriel and now on a completely DIFFRENET Quest to regain my stuff. I’ve only been able to spam teleportation to get some distance but always meet the same fate of dying. Blizzard this bug is unacceptable and I’m disappointed!

Ayo I’m a d2 vet looking for players. I can help you with duriel I feel like my game is bugged not only with him but with party finding as well. It puts me in a solo game and so far there has only been one person to ever join, but I keep dying before it loads. There never use to be loading screens like that for portals and other small things. Anyway I’m on ps4 message me

P.s if you really can’t reach your body you can save and exit and it will be there in town when you create another game

yeah, but if you have been foolish enough to try reaching it several times and died a bunch of times, you will only have the items that dropped on your last death…
OP are you using an act 1 or 2 hireling? Act 2 is better.
What is your cold res?
How many hit points do you have?
Always take 4-5 thawing potions for both you and your hireling directly BEFORE entering his lair.
Low level I was using 3 rune words:
helm - ralral
chest - stealth
shield - ancient’s pledge
I did countess farming runs over and over to get enough runes for all 3 rune words.
are you a newbie to D2? I no longer own the game as I cancelled my pre order after the lobbies/no voice chat stuff when it became evident that Blizzard wasn’t going to fix it.
I took on Duriel twice during the pre/closed beta and had zero issues. He was dead in under 30 seconds (probably closer to 10-15 seconds). I had a lvl 21 sorc, low health (around 160 points). I was even using a crappy weapon with low damage stats.

It finally put me in a game with someone else and we killed him slowly lmao wasn’t no 30 secs I’m not new but I certainly don’t have access to any rune words so far as I can barley even connect up with people it’s quite annoying
The best viable solution you can do is buy an SSD and run the game from that, it will bring those load times down by 75% and allow you to move before getting attacked.
well perhaps you were under prepared then? By that kind of character level, you should have had enough runes for at least stealth rune world chest piece. I had enough for 3 or 4.
I need knowledge on early rune words tho I’m working on spirit the important runes I’m familiar with are like lvl 45 an up
Its amazing to see who does and doesn’t know this. You can tell the times from this all in itself.
I was telling my brother just exit and rejoin, and he started asking me a thousand questions if it was safe to do or not. I found out my brother experience and my own were very different that day. 
Just google d2 rune words. stealth and ancient’s pledge are mainstays though that should last you into NM diff.
Both actually works through the whole game. I usually have both when I kill baal hell.
I hadn’t read that. I guess it would also be dependent on other good gear dropping too. It is nice to know. A question on the spirit rune word - if my follower has it (act 2, 4 socketed spear) does my character get the full benefits?

Hey hey hey now I’m sort of veteran playing with my father at a young age back then. However let me tell you the new enemy…MY LOADING SCREEN. I am not “newbie” and know to search other ways if the Loading Screen is a bug issue. As I’m sure any Gamer would do ^-^. So even though I don’t share my full details of my decisions and actions or even my current progress. I swear to the memories of my youthful days of playing with my father. I’m doing my absolute best, with a determined goal, as I’m sure the video game character and Deckard Cain feel…TO DEFEAT DURIEL!!!

You have to grab all your dead bodies. You’ll get all your stuff back. Or just exit load back up and loot your body.
This happened to me as well. I loaded into to death. Actually heard my character die before it finished loading lol. The way I got around it is to spawn creatures to use as a meat shield until you can put down a teleport and gather your bearings. If you don’t have summons then idk what you could do maybe some type of elemental protection. Either way this needs to be fixed. I think this game wasn’t properly tested before launch and the servers clearly need alot of work.
the easy fix would have been to make him have a fixed / default spawn point. WHere he would go back to if you die… but i guess no one in the dev would have thought of that.
Even for a dirt old game like this… this is one of the things that should have been adressed long long ago. Duriel might aswell been the final boss.

it wasn’t, but this Duriel has been a problem with him since the original game was launched 20 years ago. It has been prevalent the entire history of the game and has never been fixed by Blizzard in the past. I doubt it will be fixed in the future either.
