One hit on dclone, he cannot regeneration for two and half hours. That should be enough for you to do the kill.

I used blackhorn’s face / similar concept for cheaper item that can help you kill him. Also load up on res (ie wiz spike) - won’t be pretty but it is effective. This worked for me at least when I did Dclone the few times. 
The 2 and half thing surprised me. I was thinking a couple of seconds …

yea, I was surprised by that; and just looked it up in amazon basin, where it says 80min. much shorter than 2.5h but should still be enough
infinity zon can do that too. Infinity have prevent monster heal.
