DClone firewall address blocking

if counts dcloneirc show the hot ip as 103(119 soj sold)

how do you know if that ip belong to the the left side number ? 34-35-158
like 34-122-177-103 for example or 158-122-177-103

a youtubevideo was showing to block 34 and 35 left side numbers if hot ip was related to 158

i also have no clue how to block specific address if its related to say 34 instead of 35 or 158 as shown on the video

looked up for other guide after mrlama video because trying to roll for 1-255 ip sort of a pain when counts dcloneirc only show up ip 1-126 that can spawn dclone

thats old d2, and there wasnt 34 and 35 back then. if you look at the top of that page all are listed as 158 and they are based on realm.

when restricting ports on d2r, if you know the hot ip, you set multiple rules that close ports up to the common game port, after the common port, and a good margin around the hot ip (cant remember off the top of my head but tcp view will show the “common port”). you still need to rejoin games because you wont be able to block strictly enough.

example of blocking all of 34 would be 34.1.1.1 to 34.255.255.255 but if im remembering correctly the common port is in 34 so that wouldn’t be the play

do ya meant that counts dcloneirc is no longer a valid site to track hot ip for the remaster ? slighty confused by your reply…or do you mean the site need to be updated to include showing hot ip of 34 and 35 ?

yep, thats for old d2. i was looking for a d2r counter recently myself but I dont think there is one.

so if there no counter for remaster…how are ppl even hunting in remaster by using tcpview and that counts dcloneirc is no longer valid ???

i mean why would they name it “how to hunt dclone for remaster” and show how to track a room ip without a way to track rooms with a high soj count…i’am at lost there

people are organizing private groups where they pay to get in, usually with 2 sojs. organizers then send out the hot ip to people who payed.

it helps to move the process along so people arent trying to hours to magically hit the right server lol

ok…but then…how do the organizers know when a ip is hot if they cannot track it ?..unless they have some way to datamine without the use of a website

they pop it by selling the sojs themselves once everyone got on the right ip, it takes about 120 sojs, so the walks usually have around 60 entrants.

i havent been apart of it recently, but i did actually used to use dclone irc channels for hot IPs back in the day.

ok so that just mean there no way to track for him atm

only a way for ppl to track each other to organize spawn him…no solo hunt available…thats what i wanted to know…so alright…guess i been wasting my time trying to find a room with a proper ip to get him to spawn if counts dcloneirc is useless now

some streamers or discords will make the ip public after the people who payed landed, or people may leak it lol, so the blocking process could still come in handy
