**what is Unique upgrade rework: In short it’s the concept that uniques from lower tiers have improved version on later tiers and that not only they can drop in the game but also that the upgrade recipe upgrade its affixes, each

So a normal Unique can drop as normal, exceptional or elite in hell, but you can also upgrade the normal and exceptional ones **

Improvements to the Unique are based on its current version and the Spirit of it, it’s perceived lore. These upgrades version are not focussed on power but rather creating a diverse endgame itemization opening a vast selection of build enabling and build enhancing uniques

Today’s Unique upgrade, Torch of Iro

From normal

+50% Damage To Undead
Adds 5-9 Fire Damage
+1 To Necromancer skills
+10 To Energy
Regenerate Mana 5%
6% Life Stolen Per Hit
+3 To Light Radius

To exceptional

+50% Damage To Undead
Adds [clvl to clvl*2] Fire Damage
+1 to necromancer skills
+1 to fire skills
+20 To Energy
Regenerate Mana 10%
8% Life Stolen Per Hit
+6 To Light Radius

Finally elite

Fire enchanted aura when equipped
Adds [clvl2to clvl4] Fire Damage
+1 to necromancer skills
+2 to fire skills
+30 To Energy
Regenerate Mana 13%
10% Life Stolen Per Hit
+10 To Light Radius

what is fire enchanted aura?

It’s the fire enchanted monster affix but made into an aura that also affects allies

fire resist
physical damage added as extra fire damage
corpse explosion on death
AR bonus
fire damage increase

Aura on allies has reduced efficiency

These changes make it as much interesting for melee, summoner or casters

Ideally Raven hit limit desumon would also count as death and it’s Hp would be considered as HP=#hit*10

Extra info on the concept:

Hell is the real difficulty, norm and NM are tuned down difficulty to train and progress. Your character when you first spawn in hell A1 is the start of the real story, norm and nm only there to simulate the progression your hero did before arriving at the rogue camp. Meaning all previous tiers, norm& exceptional, are tuned down and only there for gameplay purpose. Upgrade recipe allows them to gain back their true nature

Lore wise, there is no such thing as norm/nm/hell as much as normal/exceptional/elite. Everything is on the same tier, so it makes sense that if there is an elite version of Death web there is an elite version of Ice blink with hell capabilities*

Meaning a Normal Unique/sets now has a Exceptional and elite version
